We checked in on Thursday evening and checked out Monday. When we arrived, there was only one towel provided, which was very old, used to be white, now browned and rough. None for the hands, or nothing whatsoever to keep the floor dry when you get out of the shower. We’ve had to go to reception to get extra. The rooms were never cleaned routinely, on Saturday afternoon, we finally requested for a room clean, and the lady was sent up. My husband met two other guests in the reception who was complaining of not having had their rooms cleaned, one already on their 4th day!
This hotel is labelled a 5-star! And yet the bathroom literally looks like a random public shower and toilet- from the design and the cleanliness. The toilet paper holder is broken and when you sit on the toilet, the door to the bathroom swings to your face when someone opens it. For a “5-star” hotel, the toiletries were disgusting ang smelt awful! The lobby also smelt like fish which was their actual air freshener as you could see it installed on the walls.
The wall design on the room by the headboard had ‘slats’, as in the photo, which wouldve been pretty, except that dirt has accumulated on each raised feature and no one seemed to have cleaned it for years.
The indoor pool-omg! We couldnt bring ourselves to get in. It was poorly lit and looked like a dungeon. We went to check twice to see if it was cleaned, has floating swimming noodles and random bits to it. Its suffocating to just be in there. Breakfast buffet is served in the morning. No variety, just local food and by 10am, everything is dried out literally. When you get out of the dining hall, smell of food clings to your hair and clothing.
AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST. I would not call it a 5- star hotel as advertised. If it was however labelled as 2-3-stars, the service and the facilities were acceptable. This is not...
Read moreExtremely Poor value for money.Staffs are generally nice and seem doing their best with limited resource. However, whoever own or managing this hotel are ripping off customers. It cannot be a four star, let alone be a four start. I've been travelling around the world going many places. This can not be a five start hotel at any regional or international standard. We took three rooms for children. We found rooms have stuffy smell, may be due to poor ventialltion system and poor maintenance. Bedsheets had stains. In one room, bathroom lock was broken. So man came and spent 1 hours but could not fix it. Room service lady doing her best and did well to keep the area clean. No dryer, no iron and not enough items in bathroom What is terrible is their food preparation and hygiene. Although I paid them for full board, my children mainly ate out because the restaurant food was dull and limited. I've seen people buying food from restaurant are offered a good variety. We are left with same food in lunch and dinner. Even the shocking thing is that the meat they served in lunch left for people to eat in the dinner. Dinner was not cooked separately. Soups prepared in the morning seems served through out the day until 12 at night. That said the stuffs in restaurant very pleasant and the morrocan lady specially came to say hello, which is positive. One of the reasons I booked this hotel is to use their pool. But it was so disappointing. Pool water not changed at least for days, so smelly. We never went back to pool again through out our stay. I felt that owners are very greedy and put huge pressure on their staffs, which are a few, to provide services to standard they cannot meet with...
Read moreVery disappointing stay – this hotel does not deserve its 5-star rating||||I stayed at this hotel, advertised as a 5-star property, from July 27 to 29, 2025, with two rooms booked. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.||||From the moment we arrived, issues began to appear. The parking area is extremely limited — barely ten spaces on the street — and rarely available. A single staff member was handling multiple roles (security, valet, concierge, porter), without any name badge or proper uniform, visibly overwhelmed and running in all directions.||||At reception, while the receptionist was friendly, she wore a wrinkled shirt and no visible identification. The night auditor was similarly dressed in an unprofessional manner. In the lobby, staff were speaking loudly among themselves, creating an atmosphere closer to a market than a luxury hotel.||||The room itself had a comfortable bed and decent space — that’s the only positive. The Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak. The bathroom was unacceptable: slippery tiles, moldy joints in the shower, water stains on the ceiling, a dirty showerhead, and a shower with no door, causing water to spread all over the floor. I had to ask four times for a bath mat, which I finally received 24 hours later.||||Breakfast service was more positive. One of the waitresses was professional, smiling, well-dressed and wore a proper name badge 👏. However, the buffet lacked basic organization: no serving tongs, no food labels, and by 9:30 a.m., the floor around the buffet was dirty and full of crumbs. With the same ingredients, the presentation and hygiene could easily be improved.||||The basement swimming pool was dark and uninviting. After what I saw in the bathroom, I didn’t feel safe using it.||||The worst part came at check-out: the valet/security/porter staff member forgot to turn off the car headlights, leaving me with a dead battery. And no supervisor or manager came to speak with me. Only staff members tried to help, and the director simply asked for my phone number — without even showing his face. I’m a paying guest, not a friend or colleague. At the very least, a director should greet and address the client personally. That’s the minimum standard of hospitality.||||Hospitality is not just a business — it’s a profession and a way of life that requires care, discipline, and attention to detail. This hotel clearly lacks all of that.
