This hotel is stated to be a 4-star hotel, but in reality, this is far from the truth. My stay at this hotel was quite uncomfortable as per the following reasons: |- the logistics and organisation were not good, as our hotel room lacked basic needs like cleaning in the bathroom, on the walls, toilet and more. We also needed to ask for towels 2 times before we received them. |- The sink was not draining the water at all, and it took ages before the water was gone. We had to ask the staff to fix it 3 times, and only then a technician came and fixed it in 5 minutes. |- 4 days into our trip we discovered ants running around in the bathroom sink, so we had to try to stop them by plotting some napkins into the hole were they came from |- The shampoo was also needed but only two were provided for the whole stay, and refill was not given|- The room sometimes had a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom, and there were mould on the walls |- The smell of the hallway was also quite Smokey and had a bad and old smell|- It looks like they did a good job investing in the reception area with good sofas and new clean walls, but the other part of the hotel is lacking. |- The room phone was also not working at all. |- The breakfast was also quite dry and 90% of the food was desserts of dry cakes, pancakes, eggs etc. The juice was fresh though. |- The housekeeping was good and the cleaning staff did their job well.|- The AC and TV were working but the remotes did not. |- The elevator in the hotel was working but was quite sketchy as the floor of it didn’t feel stable, so it felt a bit dangerous to stand in the middle of the elevator|- There was also a lot of clamour from the neighbours on our floor, and there were quite weird sounds coming from their rooms, which could be heard.|- The keycard of the hotel also only lasted a day, and needed to be recharged every evening.||Overall, the hotel lacks a lot of basic things that a hotel should have and this is nowhere near a 4-star hotel as per the above. I would personally give this hotel 1,5-2 stars. It is quite overrated and I wouldn’t recommend choosing this hotel. After reading the reviews of this hotel, we still had some hope that the hotel would be good, but this was not the case. Read moreMy stay at the Majestic Hotel in Casablanca was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We arrived with low expectations after reading reviews about bugs in the rooms, and yet, somehow, the hotel managed to disappoint us even further.||At first glance, the room seemed passable, but a closer look revealed that it was filthy and poorly maintained. Instead of fixing the actual problems, they’ve slapped on cheap decorations to cover up the glaring flaws. Our bathroom was infested with ants, there was visible mould on the walls, and one of the walls in the room was damp and reeked of mildew. To make things worse, the room reeked of sewage, and the walls were paper-thin, meaning we could hear every sound from neighboring rooms and the hallway. It took the staff two full days to address a plugged sink, despite multiple requests. Towels had to be repeatedly begged for, and the shampoo was never refilled after the initial two miniature bottles on arrival.||The public areas of the hotel were no better. The hallway carpets were patchy, mismatched, and reeked of neglect. Room signs hung crookedly, and the whole place smelled unpleasant. The elevator felt like a safety hazard, shaking and creaking with every use.||It’s hard to tell if the management simply doesn’t care or if they genuinely don’t understand basic hospitality standards. Either way, their lack of respect for guests is glaring.||The only saving grace was the cleaning staff, who did a good job with the little they had to work with. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the hotel’s overall shabbiness and poor management.||If you have even the slightest sense of taste or standards, avoid this hotel at all costs. Yes, you can survive a night here if you absolutely must, but don’t expect anything beyond that. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone....
