Hôtel Mauritania Centre Tangier — Hotel in arrondissement de Tanger-Medina طنجة المدينة

We booked this hotel on Airbnb for two nights. All was good with the check-in, no issues so far.||However, our window wouldn't shut properly which let all the Mosquitos in during the night. We had 20 of them in the room with us. I woke up to loads of bites all over my body.||The next night I stuffed the curtain into the window gaps so that they couldn't crawl in and I killed all of the ones in the room. I looked high and low for any left, I was confident that they were all gone. Upon morning I discovered three more on the ceiling. I have no idea how they got in again.||We were woken up at 6am one of the mornings because our neighboring room had to leave for the airport. The doors/walls are paper thin! You can hear everything.||The water hose for our toilet was leaking all over the floor and drowned the floor. My husband went downstairs to ask for another towel and the hotel manager told him he would have to wait as they didn't have any. We had to walk on the wet floor.||The terrace area is not as advertised. It had a fantastic view but was a bit dirty, barely any tables or chairs.||Overall this hotel ruined my holiday and could led to health issues if these mosquitos carry anything. They need to keep up their maintenance or these little things could become some serious problems. ||Also this hotel is being dishonest. On booking.com they have good reviews (hotel mauritania), then on Google they have their hotel under a different name (pension Mauritania) where it has awful reviews. Finally it doesn't add it's name or proper location on Airbnb which is where I booked this accommodation at the last minute. ||In hindsight this makes me suspicious that they are selling the luxury rooms to booking.com customers (to boost reviews) but are giving the faulty rooms to others where they don't have an...

Worst hotel I seen in my life ever. I booked a reservation 3 adult for one day over night. I came from Canada. I had a trip in Morocco . At night We went to the hotel, the receptionist said my name is not in the reservation list, I got surprised because I show him my confirmation on my phone. The receptionist transfer the call to another receptionist transfer me to another responsible to communicate with him in the phone about my reservation online his name is Youssef After conversation he said sorry I found your reservation but was canceled. And you’re the one who canceled lol. I give my explanation about situation how I can cancel the reservation and I am in the hotel? Should get email or message on my phone if the reservation got canceled. The receptionist start screaming on the phone with bad words the moroccain guy said was with me. we called police to find the solution because the time was 21:00 we can’t go out side that time because the process of the quarantine in Morocco. after we called the police the receptionist want to find the solution. Finaly we got 2 rooms with the same price after he said the hotel was full !! Rooms was horrible. Mosquitoes every where. No soap. The pillows and blanket too dirty, one of the rooms was no paper toilet !! We didn’t sleep because of noise from other rooms even outside building.
