I was in this hotel for tow nights, Gardenia is not expensive.

The first night it was perfect, with a nice view of the port and ocean, very calm. Thanks to Salem 👍🏼 —— 5/5

The second night and due to the reservation; I changed the room from the room 31 to 20 facing the bars, shouting on the street until sunrise, the balcon door was maybe broken, i closed it with my tshirt. (Salem was gaven me the 21 but he wasn’t there at night so the other person put my bags in the 20 maybe it was a mistake or misunderstanding )… 👎. ——1/5

Well nothing has been done to this place for years, many years. Might have been nice around the 80s/90s. But now it's just completely rundown. It was relatively clean, and receptionist was a nice and helpful guy. But that's it! But neighbourhood is not good! Hands off for inexperienced travellers. Junkies/Alcoholics lie around more or less passed out whole day, at night there is party. The bar next door seems to be a bar with more than drinking amusement. It's close to the city, but the walkway at night is unsafe due to the bad neighborhood.
