This is our first time in Morocco and we wanted to try something unique. I had no Dora what I was signing up for but this was an amazing place for what we were looking for. We are a family of four ( couple + 19y + 15y ).||Room: huge. We had a family suite. One bedroom and another room with two single beds plus one bathroom . Decoration is awesome and provides the full experience.||Bathroom: very good for an older building||Super clean!||Staff was great, not amazing English but good enough. Once we got there to checkin they took us to the rooftop and offered us some tea||Wi-Fi was pretty decent ||Location: right on the middle of the old Medina which I would recommend if you want to experience the real Tangier. It takes a bit of walk and Google maps to get there but we lived that as part of the experience.||Breakfast: really good and server on the rooftop BUT it is not a fast service as they make everything fresh, it took us a good 45 minutes for breakfast. We did not on the second day since we had a ferry to catch||I would definitely recommend this place. Send me a note if you need info about Tangier (ferry,...
Read moreRiad Tingis is located in the old medina of the city and is just 5mins walk away from the main April 9 square. Out of all the riads that i stayed in Morocco, it was my favorite as they triumphed in all aspects from room design to location and food. ||The rooms and the central atrium are absolutely beautiful with an open central roof that lets a lot of natural light in. The bathrooms and the rooms are well equipped and have all the amenities/cosmetics you may need, except maybe a kettle. Have to specially commend the tiling work and the colorful mosaic windows. ||All of the staff are extremely friendly. The receptionist even helped me book a trip to Herculean caves and Cape Spartel. The breakfast is amazing, diverse and plentiful and is served on the beautiful roof. ||The riad has several wi-fi connections that worked really well and the property is well signed along the way.||Riad Tangir holds the light for all riads in Morocco and leads the way in how riad-ish...
Read moreLet me start by saying that this Hotel EXCEEDED by far my expectations! First of all, the Hotel Manager, Omar, has ALWAYS been available and extremely kind all the time. I would text him on WhatsApp multiple times a day to reserve taxis and get information, and he would reply immediately. When we arrived at the Hotel, Omar showed us the beautiful bedroom and the facilities and later took us to the breathtaking terrace where he offered us typical Moroccan mint green tea. The room and the bathroom were very spacious, clean with excellent Wi-Fi speed coverage. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! The lady prepared different plates with all kinds of food and beverages. The Hotel is located in the heart of Tangier, the Medina. All the typical restaurants, markets, and sightseeing are a few feet away, so there is no better spot where to stay. Thank you again, Omar, for being always available and ready to help. You're the best Hotel Manager I have met in many years of...
