Riad Amr Tanger — Hotel in arrondissement de Tanger-Medina طنجة المدينة

Extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable. I arranged an airport pickup for 30 euro which is a rip off comparing to local price. Kamal picked me up and claimed to be a tour guide who offered a "free tour" which was really unpleasant and asked me for money afterwards. I had to give him 5 euro to be left alone. As a solo female traveler, I felt like the only guest in the riad surrounded by several male staff working in the hotel and not speaking much English. They all look untrustworthy. I felt extremely uncomfortable for my first stay in Tanger. The riad was extremely noisy with people talking loud at the entrance until 3am in the morning. The light in the corridor got turned on after mid night and the light goes through the colorful window to your room. No one cares about my well-being in the riad and they ask me to leave a good review. I had a terrible night and was so happy to...

Zuerst muss ich ein Dankeschön an das Team des Riad AMR aussprechen. Als Reisebüro Mitarbeiter sieht und erlebt man so einige Unterkünfte in seinem Leben.|Das RIAD AMR ist für mich ein perfekt gelegenes Haus mitten in der Altstadt und trotzdem einfach zu erreichen. Das RIAD selbst ist sehr neuwertig und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer verfügen über sehr bequeme Betten, sind toll dekoriert und die Bäder sind ebenfalls sehr gepflegt und neu.|Die Dachterrasse ist natürlich der Höhepunkt und das nicht nur zum Frühstück. Das Frühstück bietet alles was Marokko zu bieten hat und noch vieles mehr. Ein toller Start in den Tag. (Bei schlechtem Wetter im Riad, was auch sehr schön und fast schon familiär wirkt )|Ich habe zwei Mal auf der Terrasse zu Abend gegessen und es war sehr, sehr lecker.|Der Service der Mitarbeiter ist absolut professionell und sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die tolle marokkanische Gastfreundschaft wird hier gelebt. Ob es die perfekte Organisation vor der Reise ist zum Beispiel das arrangieren eines Taxi, Hilfe beim Weg durch die Gassen oder einfach ein nettes und gutes Gespräch.|Besonders möchte ich zwei Mitarbeiter hervorheben. Bouchta ist der Hausengel und kümmert sich um alles was man eventuell benötigt oder möchte. Unglaublich - danke!! Ebenfalls möchte ich Zakaria erwähnen - ein wahnsinnig motivierter und sehr zuvorkommender immer hilfsbereiter Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Vielen Dank, daß ich mich auch durch die Mitarbeiter wie "zu Hause" gefühlt habe und man merkt, daß es von Herzen kommt.|Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Trip in das tolle Tanger und das Riad AMR. Ich kann nur jedem raten wer in Tanger die Altstadt und Marokko in seiner schönsten Form erleben möchte seine Tage in die Hände des Riad AMR zu legen!! Topppp!!!!...

We had the most amazing stay here. Riad AMR is in the most ideal location. Close to amazing eateries and being in the middle of the madina, it a fun place to explore, and walk around.. Its ideal! The staff were exceptional and so accommodating. Zineb was so kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The building is beautiful and eating on the rooftop allows you to experience the beauty of being in the center of it all. Although its in the middle of everything. Once you are in your room its very quiet...
