I recently had the most amazing stay at the Royal Surf House in Taghazout! From the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic experience throughout my entire stay. The hostel itself was beautifully designed, with vibrant and comfortable rooms that provided a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The breathtaking views of the ocean from the terrace were simply mesmerizing, especially during sunrise and sunset. The communal spaces were vibrant and lively, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers and create lifelong friendships. The surf lessons offered by the hostel were top-notch, catering to all skill levels and ensuring that everyone had a great time catching waves. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, and the communal dinners provided a wonderful opportunity to share stories and experiences with other guests. I cannot recommend the Royal Surf House enough—it truly exceeded all my expectations and made my trip to Taghazout unforgettable. I can't wait to return and create more incredible memories in this...
Read moreI really don’t understand the previous reviews :((
What to expect: • No reception or welcome upon arrival or departure. • Lots of noise until 1 a.m. (even from a room far from the common areas). • Poor sound insulation between rooms, be prepared to get woken up if the neighboring room is chatting. • A hostel manager, Jawad, who constantly invites his friends over during the day and evening. His friends are loud, shouting and taking up a lot of space. • Spaces that, although cleaned daily, still remain very dirty, especially the bathrooms. • For half of our stay, there was no hot water in the showers. • Wi-Fi that doesn’t work very well. • We were not given the room we had selected when making the reservation.
The only positive point: • The terrace and rooftop.

Read moreHad a great stay here with friendly family owners who would always help or answer any questions. We extended our stay an extra two times for the welcoming and chill feel of the place. Wifi intermittent sometimes in some locations on the very top terrace but the view compensated for it.
Worth noting, non married couples are unfortunately unable to stay here and will be offered a full refund to cancel and book elsewhere. Was travelling with a Moroccan friend and after explaining the friendship is just friendship and not romantic, we were able to stay and received an apology for the misunderstanding. That aside, faultless...
