I booked this hotel because of great location (train, shopping malls, old town etc.) I totally forgot to see the comments. I was shocked to see so many terrible experiences. I was so afraid. Than i came to hotel and in reception there was really polite men - they didn’t lost my reservation, I was really released. I came to my room in 2nd floor and it was not soooo bad. And i was released again. Ok, room is outdated same as bathroom but it’s really not that bad. The major cons are: room was really could, AC did not working, there was really nooooooo peace in room (through windows you can hear everything and the air machine for the bathroom is sooooo super loud 24h/7 - like you are on a small ferry with high bass sounds (but i have always earplugs with me and this didn’t bother me), and this machine you cannot switch it off, belove my room there was renovations of the rooms it was really toooooo loud during the day!!) and in bathtub the pressure of the water was really terrible but fortunately i had hot watter. whole bathroom needs a good limestone cleaning. I really liked the dark curtains in room so i had good sleep with my earplugs and the bed was really great. WiFi in room was perfect. Dinner was always delicious, breakfast was average. For this hotel 2 stars is the right category. for my last night i went to other hotel to have a peaceful rest and a good sleep during the night.

At the entrance, i was greeted by both receptionist. The checkin was fast, and the employees were very polite and friendly. I even had someone take me to the room and carried my luggage. On our way to the room in the 6th floor, the hallway smelled strong cigarette smoke. The first room 603 was disgusting. Can’t une another word for that, the smell of the moisture was so strong I couldn’t imagine laying down for one hour there. The sheets looked clean at first, but I found hair. The closet’s shelves were very made poorly made and made them look dusty. The hingers were the wire hangers. Second room 403 smelled much better, the furniture looked upgraded, cleaner, nice closet, hut empty with the exception of 3 plastic hangers, but the bathroom was a disaster. Pubic hair on top of the flushing toilet water tank, the inside was yellowish and one of its wall is badly cracked, but there was no leak. The sink was disgusting, the shower glass was smudged, and looked very dirty. Found again hair on one of the pillows. I had to buy strong cleaning detergents to clean the toilet/sink/shower, and it looked a bit better. There is no option to iron your clothes, a shower holder for the shower toiletry holder. The street looked safe and pretty busy even after midnight, but nothing else to see The room doesn’t have any noise cancellation, you can hear everything happening outside.

Absolutely diabolical! I'm only giving it 1 star because I can't give it no stars. We cancelled our reservation immediately after seeing the room. Staff was pleasant enough but I honestly I wouldn't want to stay in there even if you paid me. The standard is definitely not 4 star and it looks nothing like the pictures online. It is very old, run down and neglected. The sheets and pillow cases were stained and looked as if they haven't been washed. The towels were gray to the point I was too disgusted to touch them. All the surfaces were covered in a thin lsyer of grime and dust. The loose electical cables sticking out of sockets and light switches. The light fixures above the bed look like they were going to fall on someone's head. We felt it was unsafe to stay there due to this poor level of upkeep and and low level of hygiene.

Please believe me when i tell you that this was the worst hotel ive ever been to. Don’t make the mistake of not checking google reviews because thats what i did and i regret it. The front desk lady is so rude. At first she will be nice and as soon ss you come in sit you down for hours (even tho everyone is tired from their flight), so that you can buy the excursions from her. She is trying to scam you because on getyourguide it is around £15-17 for agafay, but she is selling it for £63 per person! she says getyourguide is a scam and that we HAVE to buy from her. When we said we will think about it (because the total of all the excursions for each person was around £500!) she became very standoffish and ever since the third day, she has been rude, gaslighting us into thinking we didnt say hello to her everytime we came down, she says that we are rude, and when i was sitting in the restaurant area eating my breakfast, she says hi to me and i smile and say hi back, and then she shakes her head and says ‘whatever’ and hurries off acting like i didnt return her hello. I get upset because i know i said hello, and i always say hi back to anyone who says it to me its just basic decency to. So i confront her and she says that i always escape anytime she wants to say hello to me, and that its not only her who has this opinion but its everyone who works there which is clearly a lie because i sometimes have conversations with the people who work here (because there is a language barrier) and i always smile at them and say hello. She made us feel like the odd one out and it was just very hostile. Not only that, but the internet doesnt work on most of the floors. we havent had internet on the fourth floor for 5 days (we have been here 7). Most of the workers here are really nice too, the customer service from the front desk however did not move us when we countlessly told them that our room didnt have internet, even though most people were moved to the lower floors which had it. it was overall such a bad experience and the lady i was mentioning earlier is also weird towards the restaurant workers and argues with them which rubs me the wrong way too as they are very nice and always treat everyone...

During our recent family trip, we encountered a truly dreadful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our stay was not going to be pleasant. The first sign of trouble was when we entered the bathroom and discovered its deplorable condition. The tiles were dirty and the overall cleanliness was questionable at best. But the real nightmare began when we noticed that the tap on the basin was broken, making it impossible to use properly. This was a major inconvenience, as we had to resort to using the shower for basic hygiene needs.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the bedroom switch proved to be a hazard. It was dangling loosely from the wall, exposing live wires. This was not only extremely dangerous, but it also posed a serious threat to the safety of our family, particularly our children. We immediately reported the issue to the hotel staff, expecting swift action to rectify the situation. However, their response was far from satisfactory.

The staff members we encountered were shockingly rude and unhelpful. Instead of addressing our concerns and taking immediate action, they dismissed our complaints and showed a complete lack of concern for our well-being. Their dismissive attitude left us feeling frustrated and ignored. It was as if they didn't understand the gravity of the situation and had no interest in ensuring our comfort and safety during our stay.

Despite this terrible experience, the only saving grace was the morning breakfast. Thankfully, the quality of the food was decent, and it provided some respite from the other disappointments we faced. However, it certainly wasn't enough to compensate for the numerous issues encountered throughout our stay.

Overall, this hotel experience was a complete disaster. The lack of cleanliness, broken facilities, dangerous electrical switches, and the rude behavior of the staff left us feeling utterly dissatisfied. It's disheartening to think that a place that should provide comfort and relaxation can instead turn into...

Avoid this hotel. I have no idea how this hotel hasn't been closed down. I stayed for 4 nights left on 19th Sept. The hotel has cockroachs in rooms, broken sockets, blocked shower, blocked sink and extremely dirty. reception didn't want to know, and didnt send anyone to fix it. staff are rude and unhelpful. Food was disgusting, thankfully there's places to eat nearby. The pictures on the Internet do not by any means reflect what the hotel is actually like. Everything seems to be broken, including the air con, if you can call it that. The pool was a health hazard and clearly never cleaned, there are cigarette ends all over the pool area and also on balcony, We had to ask daily for clean towels they were never lift in room like they should be after cleaner leaves, I'm not sure if they even cleaned the rooms, the sheets were definitely not changed. We had to change rooms as we were overwhelmed with the cockroachs, reception tried to say it wasnt possible, only when i asked for manager did they agree, the 2nd room was just as bad but was only for 1 night. I used the communal loo 3 times and all 3 times I had to ask for loo roll. It's the basic things they couldn't even get right let alone the health and safety of there guest. Saying good morning /afternoon is pointless as they ignore you. If I had booked 1 week I would have checked out on first night. There's a lady who sits at reception who claims she doesn't work for hotel but is there to help with excursions, she's a total rip off and over priced, walk 2 mins up the road and same trip was far more cheaper. Do not even attempt to eat a meal outside a restaurant as you will be mullered by the locals, it was all just very unsafe. Do not waste your money coming to this hotel and if you do expect to be disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would, the place needs to be...
