The Arabic House, Marrakesh — Hotel in Marrakesh Prefecture

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed for 3 nights however we would have loved to stay longer if time had allowed.

The Riad is located in the Medina which is a buzzing and chaotic area to navigate through, but hey, that is Morocco! isn’t that exactly the authentic experience you want when visiting the country?

We stayed during a heatwave (44 degrees) but the AC in the room kept us nice and cool. Beds are firm yet comfortable and the hotel is quiet and peaceful at night. Shared bathroom facilities are clean and soap is provided, not once did we have to wait for other guests to use the facilities.

Location is good, about a 10/15 min walk to the busy area with loads of shops and delicious food.

We had breakfast once at the Riad on the rooftop terrace for only 5 euros each and it was well worth the money.

All in all the price/ quality ratio is amazing. We couldn’t have wished for anything else during our stay.

We had an amazing time at the Arabic house! We booked through Airbnb and added on two guests fairly last minute and they were very accommodating to our needs. We were greeted by Fouad (male receptionist on duty) even though it was late at night he helped us find the location of the Airbnb. Fouad even offered to make us tea and he gave us a tour of the facilities. He was a much needed warm welcome after a long day of travel. He continued to make our stay more comfortable by continuing to make us lovely tea each night and making sure we had everything we needed. We travelled around morocco for 6 days before arriving in this place and we are super happy to have found it, the best since we have arrived. When you are outside you are in the chaos of the medina and when you enter you can find a relaxing place with a very nice terrace. The place is quiet since there are only a few rooms. The staff is amazing, we talked a lot with them and they offered us a tea when we arrived. The room was clean and big, as well the bathroom.
