If you're interested in photography or Moroccan culture, then a visit to the House of Photography in Marrakech is definitely worth your time. This museum is home to an extensive collection of photographs that capture the history, culture, and daily life of Morocco.
The museum is housed in a beautiful riad in the heart of the city's medina, and the exhibits are thoughtfully curated and presented. The photographs are arranged thematically, and each section is accompanied by informative captions and explanations.
One of the highlights of the museum is the rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. It's a great place to relax and take in the beauty of Marrakech while reflecting on the photographs you've seen.
The museum can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist season, so it's best to visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. The entrance fee is also quite reasonable, and includes access to the rooftop terrace.
Overall, the House of Photography is a must-visit attraction in Marrakech, and a great way to learn about Moroccan culture and history through the lens of photography. Whether you're a photography enthusiast or just looking for a unique cultural experience, you won't be disappointed by this...

If you choose to take the filthy roads and are prepared to get lost in destitute neighbourhoods, you'll find delicious pastries for 1 dirham each! Locals here seem a bit livid to see tourists in non-touristic areas. It you don't want to risk being battered, then stay in Medina :)
Beware taxi drivers that will always try to scam tourists. Always tell them to turn on 'meter' or 'computer'. Speak French with...
