We did the 4-day Marrakech to Fes desert tour with Morocco Easy Tours, and honestly, it was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. My husband, our 3-year-old daughter, and I were lucky enough to have Moha as our guide and we still talk about how sad we were when we had to say goodbye to him in Fes.
Moha is the kind of guide who instantly makes you feel like you’re traveling with a friend (who just happens to know every road, every village, and every person between Marrakech and the Sahara). He made everything so smooth and low-stress, from the winding Atlas roads to all the little details like snacks, bathroom stops, and caffeine breaks when we were dragging.
He’s Berber and speaks the language fluently, so visiting desert villages and nomadic families didn’t feel like some staged experience, it felt real and easy, like we were being welcomed by people he genuinely knew. He also has this magical way of stepping in when needed (like when someone was being a little too pushy with souvenirs) without making a big deal out of it.
The real highlight for us was the Sahara—Moha helped pull off a surprise birthday cake for our daughter out there. It was one of those moments we’ll remember forever. And despite all the driving, we were never bored. Moha kept us entertained, even when my husband passed out snoring in the front seat.
The whole trip was packed with gorges, camels, tea, music, ATVs, but it never felt rushed. It just flowed, and that’s all down to how Moha runs things.
If you’re thinking about booking this tour, do it!! And if you get Moha, consider yourself lucky. We genuinely missed him when the trip ended. He made it feel personal, fun, and...
Read moreMy trip with easy tours was amazing and spot on in all possible ways, from start to finish. From the moment I contacted Moha, he made me feel at ease as a solo female traveller and patiently answered all my questions.
He organised everything from beginning to end, and everything was so seamless. He pays attention to detail and was meticulous in everything he did. From pick up to drop off , I didn’t have to think of anything. The chosen riads and guesthouses were extremely comfortable, well located and hospitable. He even ensured all heating and necessities were in working order before settling in for the night and checks on u during ur free time while still ensuring u have ur privacy and time alone to explore and be.
I went for a sunny holiday but happened to be cold, raining and snowing and he still ensured I get to see the main spots enroute. Worth every penny and would recommend him and Morocco Easy Tours blindly to anyone wanting to visit Morocco. I’m normally quite the active traveller but actually got just what I needed: a laid back and chilled holiday where I was able to see the place without having to think of anything. He was Super respectful and thoughtful throughout.. I’ll...
Read moreIt is very good and bad at the same time, definitely an experience worth doing but we got luxury tents thinking they had ac and it did not, ended up sleeping on a carpet outside since it was 40 degrees at night , i would recommend you do not get luxury tents not worth the extra 70 at all standard ones are nearly the same and you will enjoy with your group instead of being separated to another "luxury camp" al the rest was fun to visit and experience but driving will keep you on edge since they drive very different to europeans (fast driving and dangerous overtaking) . Overall even tho i was not happy with many things , its such an eye opener that its worth doing . Pros: eye opener, amazing views, amazing guides, feeling safe with the group, Ac in the minivan. Cons: heat (inside restaurants and tent), lack of sleep , risky driving, no ac for luxury tents. Overall: 100 % recommend but if you are not an open minded person this could be a...
