Sadly my partner and I had a terrible experience here yesterday. The server was alone and could not handle it. He was very friendly but we had to wait for almost 2 hours and my tea never arrived. At the end i did not want it anymore and he took my partners drink of the bill as an apology for the extremely long wait. Mind you while we were waiting, another table got there, got their food and left all before we got our food. Sadly all the waiting wasn't even worth it. My Tajine with vegetables was alright, just a little bland. But the Veggie Burger my Partner got was down right terrible. The Falafel wasn't just dry, like bad falafel always is, it was brick hard and somehow did not taste like falafel. The burger was dry in general, as they did not manage to swap the hummus with caviar d'aubergine as my partner requested and instead served a burger without any such sauce. My partner literally could not finish it because it was so bland, hard and dry.
The view and atmosphere was nice though, except maybe the Raggea Remixes of Pop songs that kept blasting trough the speakers, very odd choice of music but thats just personal taste. Maybe they just had a bad day, but it was definitely a terrible experience for us. Luckily we could laugh at the absurdity of the situation and we got some delicious Crepe at a nearby food...
Read moreProbably the highest rooftop in Marrakesh with a 360° view around the city. We were extremely surprised by this place, found out of a coincidence, walking through the market and craving a mint tea. We got there around 5pm, asked to go to the roof top and surprise surprise it was no one there, after getting to the roof top, it was an extra stair case going up which we've taken and sudenlly we were on the top of the building and the city. Amazing finding, nice decoration, and amazing views.
The only downside was actually the mint tea, we had dozens of mint teas around the city and even out of the city, and this one was definitely the worst one, not the traditional way of serving at all, and the flavour was also not the best.
Usually, tea in Morocco comes in a silver tea pot for two people, and here, even though it was for two people, it came individually in two...
Read moreSlow and chaotic service, with terrible hand hygiene to match, avoid this place and save yourself some money.
Edit: Thanks for the reply! I'm a "local guide" because Google said so, it isn't up to me. For the hand hygiene, your grill man kept sniffing his NOSE and then wiping it (the snot) with his HANDS. Maybe he was on his way to getting the flu? Goodness knows, but for any chef worth his or her salt, this is poor hand hygiene which should not be practiced in a restaurant setting. In fact, other establishments, such as Marrekechia down the road, did not have the same issue at all. So much so, I gave them 5 stars. Anyhow, I hope you get to sort out your workforce soon so diners won't have to wait for a long time to he served. All the best and...
