The location is very central, which was convenient for exploring the city, but it was quite difficult to find as there was no sign indicating the place.
The room itself was clean and included a small kitchen, but unfortunately, we couldn’t really use it — there was no pot to boil water, and although there was a fridge, it couldn’t be used because the cable didn’t fit the plug.
We appreciated the welcoming gesture of tea upon arrival. However, communication with the owner was challenging, as he did not speak English. When we asked for advice on local attractions, we were incorrectly informed that the Kasbah would be closed — luckily, we decided to check anyway and found it open.
Breakfast, which was supposed to be served between 8 and 10 a.m., was agreed to be ready for us at 8:30. Unfortunately, the owner only arrived at 8:25, and by the time we came to eat at 8:30, there was no available table (there are only 2 tables for 5 rooms). The breakfast itself was acceptable, but strangely, no cutlery or plates were provided.
One major issue was that the owner smoked cigarettes inside the building, and the smoke traveled into our room, which made our stay uncomfortable.
Another big downside was that in the morning there was no hot water, so we were not able to take a shower before leaving.
The most disappointing experience happened in the evening. I had important work to complete on my laptop, but while I was working in the lobby, the owner turned off the lights and asked me to leave, which was incredibly disrespectful and stressful given the urgency of my work.
Overall, while the location and room cleanliness were positive points, the stay was overshadowed by poor communication, lack of basic amenities, cigarette smoke, no hot water, and unprofessional behavior...
Read moreThe stay we had was truly pleasant, and we felt very welcomed by everyone. The room is clean and cozy, albeit the kitchen that was shown in picture didn't work. We had access to the fridge though. The location is nice and there is parking very close by. The breakfast included in the price was plentiful and appreciated. What really made it for us was the kindness and openness to talk of the host that really created a stay full of kindness and community. We engaged in endless and insightful talks that we'll surely...
