Terrible experience at this café-restaurant. Respect for customers is simply non-existent. Some of the staff (not all, but enough to ruin the experience) are downright rude and seem to judge people based on how they dress or look — which is absolutely disgraceful and discriminatory.
Their main focus is clearly not on customer service, but on making as much money as possible. During the summer season, they do everything they can to attract people, but once the place gets busy, their behavior changes completely. They become arrogant, unfriendly, and — believe it or not — they will shamelessly ask certain customers to leave if they’re not spending “enough” money!
This kind of attitude has no place in hospitality. Tourists, please be aware: there are many other places where you’ll be welcomed with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Don’t waste your time or money here. This place doesn’t deserve your business.

Dear Manager, Your attempt to deny my experience by suggesting that I’m either “confused” or “a competitor” is not only unprofessional, but it also perfectly illustrates the very problem I mentioned in my review — a complete lack of respect for customers and zero accountability. Let me be clear: I’m not a competitor, I am a real customer, and I know exactly where I was. My experience happened at Diamond Café, and I stand by every word I wrote. Trying to discredit honest feedback instead of addressing the issues only proves that you are not willing to listen or improve. You claim this has “nothing to do with Diamond,” yet let me remind you of a few facts:
1- Your staff judged customers based on their appearance and were disrespectful in their tone and attitude.
2- Clients who don’t spend “enough” money are treated poorly or even asked to leave — I witnessed this firsthand.
3- I think even you stream football matches using unofficial TV services, which raises legal and ethical concerns, but I'm not sure enough about that.
4- The view from the terrace is far from relaxing — the garden in front is unfortunately filled with homeless individuals, and at times, inappropriate behavior between couples can be seen, making it uncomfortable for families or anyone simply trying to enjoy a coffee.
Instead of accusing clients of being competitors, start by reflecting on how your business is being run. Tourists and locals alike deserve honesty, respect, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere — not arrogance...

The chicken was tasteless, as if it had been frozen for weeks on end. The pasta was so bland. I could not taste the garlic that I requested. I ordered white sauce and instead I was served a blackish sauce which had no taste!! The mushrooms and chicken tasted rubberish.
The Cesar Salad was filled with dirty old lettuce, the tomatoes were old and soggy, the chicken was old, super thin and tasteless. The salad was filled with a lot of large stale bread biscuits blocks. No flavour, no dressings whatsoever.
The man that served us was so nice and polite that I could not complain to him. However I left the plate of food full for the chef to see.
Dear: "The Chef" and "kitchen staff" of Diamond café. Chicken should be served freshly on ALL the dishes that includes chicken. Chicken is supposed to be WHITE in color. Thick and juicy on the inside. Served with a light sauce to the likings of the customers delight.
When a customer orders chicken with White sauce and garlic, then he/she expects to see a delightful WHITE sauced chicken and garlic as per their request. Fresh ingredients and definitely does not want to taste nor see OLD ingredients.
Word of advice. WHITE garlic sauce does not mean BLACK tasteless sauce. In my opinion, It is better to throw out the plate food and start over again. Than to be served a plate of food that looks and tastes absolutely atrocious! I am sure the customer will appreciate a complimentary beverage or a small plate of sweets, for the small delay..
Definitely room for improvement guys!!!
Furthermore; Serve to your customers what you would like to be served to you when you go out for dinner.
On a good note... Relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. Would recommend this place to chill out or hang out with friends.
Eat somewhere else especially if you are fasting.
O'btw. One more thing. Tell the kitchen staff not to return the spoon into the pot after test tasting the food. Remember you have a transparent glass that allows everyone to see what goes on in the kitchen.

Read moreI ordered a Swordfish dish. (Espadon) they said it was the only one available amongst two other kinds. I came in sometime around 9 pm, so I understand the waiters would be tired by then, but the waitress could not crack the slightest smile. She brought in olives and bread really quick..this I appreciated, but the main course took a good 25 minutes. She said there would be Broccoli along with the other veggies...there was none..The bread was not fresh, the veggies were not as warm as I'd wished..it seems like the chef had thrown them on the fire at the same time as he did the fish..anyway..I could have let it all slide had my swordfish actually been swordfish..she brought some other fish I cannot name. I have both ordered and cooked Espadon countless times, I have never seen espadon with a thick layer of brownish meat on top of the white part. The best thing about the entire dish was a shrimp/mushroom sauce she brought along, other than that, I'm really disappointed. I would come here for a coffee now and then, but...
