Read moreNot recommending this place. We were staying there two times, first for 3 nights and second 1 night only because we have left our luggage during the trek. Quite pricey compared to other places. We thought that will be at least quiter than Thamel but not! During the night they were opening front gate multiple times and it was very loud that even with ear plugs could hear it. Hotel staff was talking very loudly as well. Another thing, one night they switched music on in the garden late and party began. Very loud. We were after long journey, tired and couldn’t rest at all. About food, one night all of us ordered food and I got food poison. Rest weren’t feeling well. We had to extend our stay unfortunately. Another important thing, no hot shower! Not even warm. We had ones even on altitudes over 3000 meters during trek but not in here. They switched water only on our arrival before we paid and next days it was the same explanation that something is broken, they are fixing this right now or been fixed and water won’t we able to warm right now, maybe tomorrow. The same after almost two weeks after we were back. Firstly, after we asked about hot water, one guy walk into our room turn the tap on and said that hot water will be in 5 minutes. After 20 minutes I walked down to asked them as water was still cold so they said wait another few minutes. Another waisted 20 minutes and they came to inform that something is broken and they have to fix it. The same thing like 2 weeks ago. At least they offered this one day only after long time of waiting hot water bucket and said sorry so 2...
Read moreI stayed at Hotelbnb Mhepi from 23rd to 26th October and had a delightful experience. The hotel is centrally located, close to Thamel, the tourist bus park, and the new bus park, making it very convenient for sightseeing and travel.
The staff at Hotelbnb Mhepi are incredibly friendly and courteous. They are well-trained and skilled, and their hospitable behavior truly impressed me. I felt as if I was in a very familiar environment. The hotel is situated near local houses, which I found to be an excellent opportunity to learn about the local people's lives and their diverse culture.
On the first day, there was no hot water in the bathroom, but this issue was resolved by the next morning, and we had good hot water. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinner in the lovely garden, and during the day, we explored Kathmandu and enjoyed our meals in the sightseeing areas.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The staff are always ready to serve you with their cheerful smiles, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Highly...
