I just completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with Raj as my tour guide. The trip could not have been better!! Would highly recommend this company.

When we arrived in Kathmandu, there had just been a monsoon and normal roads were closed. Sappa was working diligently to make alternate plans for us so that we could still complete the trek. He was extremely communicative and organized everything perfectly.

Our guide, Raj, was very knowledgeable on the trail and organized all of the tea houses with no problem. It made it so easy. I had an issue with my hiking shoes tearing from the soles while we were in Namache. He took my shoes to a guy to fix them & saved my trip!!! Not only that, but on the final hike at around 18,000 feet, I was struggling with oxygen and he carried me on his back to bring me down to lower elevation. Raj was the best tour guide we could have asked for!!

Our friend recommended Nepal Base Camp Treks so we ended up booking our Everest Base Camp trek through them. Sappa handled all of the logistics in Kathmandu (airport pickup, transfer to Ramechhap, etc.) Our meals, lodging, guide, porter, and logistics were all taken care of and everything went as smooth as possible during the trek. This company is great because it utilizes local guides in Lukla for the treks. Our guide Raj was one of the best guides we’ve ever had while traveling. He took care of all of the logistics during the trek and helped us coordinate a helicopter back to Ramechhap when all of the flights were grounded. He also carried my wife several hundred meters down the mountain when she was feeling lightheaded due to altitude. Overall, a great team and couldn’t recommend this company more.
