This hotel is was a blessing while wandering the streets late at night looking for a hotel after a grueling 20 hour bus ride. They opened for us past normal hours to give us the perfect room for our needs at an extremely affordable price. Hot water and kind service and cozy beds made us feel at home.

Edit: I would not call this a "peace" hotel at all. Last night the hotel hosted a very loud party that took place in many of the rooms. There were people getting extremely drunk and screaming all night just outside my door while listening to very loud music. I asked them to be quiet at 1am and they insulted me and were very aggressive. When I complained because I could not sleep, the manager said he couldn't do anything about it. I did not sleep at all as the party continued all night. I no longer feel safe or confident in this hotel and do not...

(6 mixed-dorm) on the ground floor. Wifi stable. Able to watch videos and make video calls smoothly. Clean mineral water, hairdryer, lockers (in the room) and storage service available. Staff are nice and helpful. Hot water all day but it gets warmer in the late evening probably cuz the temp outside. Overall it has everything and exceeds what you pay. (such a low price)

Tip 1: Lots of stores sell NTC/Ncell SIM cards everywhere but I find those in Thamel are more helpful and they speak English better. Tip 2: I usually go to Thamel for food. There are more nice and clean restaurant options. (especially if you're new to Nepal) It's only 15-20 walking distance. Try something else at least...

The staff at this hotel were very kind and helpful.

But there are bedbugs under my pillow and in my futon every day.

Even if I changed the bed sheets, the bedbugs did not disappear because they have a high survival rate. It is important to eradicate them thoroughly.

My whole body was bitten by bedbugs and I felt horrible itching.

The itching and redness were unimaginable and it was like hell.

Please Google the dangers of bedbugs.
