Hotel Claire Inn — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Used as a base for 45 days while touring around Katmandu Valley. Giving it a 4 star only because issues with wifi in the room and inconsistent hot water (dependent on a sunny day at which point you need to shower to get hot water). I discussed these two issues with the owner and new extended routers have been ordered which should solve the wifi issues and the new hot water system should be installed by mid year so will solve my only other issue. Otherwise the stay has been great! The balconies get bathed in sun, elevator works well, everyone is quickly responsive to any requests. I'll return here in two months when I return from India. There is a fantastic thali restaurant just steps from the hotel and anytime after 5a there are two hallways off the road that lead into the stupa so makes it great for quick trips...

This recently opened hotel features spacious and clean rooms with all required facilities. A comfortable bed, big wardrobe, large desk with chair for work, tv with good selection of channels. The bedlinen is clean and so is the spacious bathroom that features a wash basin, toilet and shower with hot water available. The reception staff is friendly and polite. The restaurant facilities will open shortly, but at the moment there are plenty of other restaurant facilities nearby. The location is perfect, close to the Boudha Stupa but still far enough from traffic and other noise. I greatly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again, hopefully tourism will pick up soon again so this hotel will...

Very Bad staff ! Very unpolite and agressive ! You Can find lot of insects in your bedroom. Wifi is worst... And the staff whispers about you when they see you entering or leaving the hôtel. Lot of street dogs in this street and even they let one dog enter in the réception of hôtel ( this dog barked AT me several Time ....) worst ! Don't go to this hôtel, you'll pay for dirty Room...
