This serene park is situated just a short walk away from the iconic Boudha Stupa, making it an ideal stop for anyone exploring the sacred surroundings of Boudhanath. What makes this place truly special is its deep historical and spiritual connection to the stupa itself. According to local tradition, the soil from this very location was used in the construction of the Boudha Stupa centuries ago. After the soil was removed, the land eventually transformed into a pond, symbolizing a sacred bond between the two places. This story adds a unique cultural and historical depth to the site, making it more than just a peaceful spot to relax. At the center of the pond stands a large and striking statue of a Buddhist deity, offering a sense of calm reverence to the area. The reflection of the statue in the water, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, creates a beautiful and contemplative atmosphere. Whether you're a pilgrim, a tourist, or a local seeking a moment of peace, this park offers a meaningful extension to the Boudha experience. If you’re already planning a visit to the stupa, make sure to take a few extra minutes to stop by this nearby sanctuary, you...

A perfect start to the New Year at Buddha Park and Boudhanath Stupa! 🌟 Visiting this spiritual gem on the 1st of January was truly magical. The serene ambiance of Buddha Park, combined with the grandeur of the Boudhanath Stupa, felt like stepping into a peaceful haven amidst the city's hustle.

The spinning prayer wheels, the mesmerizing chants of monks, and the vibrant fluttering of prayer flags created an energy of positivity and hope. I took my time to circumambulate the stupa, soaking in the powerful tranquility it offers.

If you’re seeking a place to reconnect with your soul and start your year with a calm mind, this is the place to be. Highly recommend visiting in the early morning or evening for the most peaceful experience. Definitely a must visit for all travelers...
