Ocean Inn — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Hotel Ocean In is the cutest and most peaceful space I’ve stayed at in Kathmandu—well beyond my expectations! The calm atmosphere, surrounded by gardens, made it feel like a retreat camp. Despite being in the city, there was absolutely no noise, creating a serene and relaxing vibe.

What truly stood out was the incredible kindness and helpfulness of the staff. They made our group feel completely at home, which made the experience even more special.

Boudha being just a one-minute walk away is a huge bonus, adding to the convenience. The place is simple yet amazing, and it has quickly become my favorite spot in Kathmandu.

Although it's very close to boudha it's a calm place. We had a bathroom with hot water. There was a small kitchen we could use. Hot and cold drinking water for free available. Laundry service or you can use the washing machine yourself. The staff is very friendly. They have a garden to hang out. My only complaint is that there was some mould in the room and bathroom. This is a very quiet and comfortable environment, hidden in an alley. It is only 3 minutes away from the pagoda. There is a pleasing green lawn in front of the guest room. You can hear all kinds of lovely birds singing and enjoy sunbathing. Dry clothes, etc. The accommodation is clean and tidy, there is no odor from the gutter, and there is an electric fan inside.
