Michael and Ross, our hosts, are lovely people – very friendly and helpful. They took us on a tour up to Fletcher Bay so that we could enjoy the Coromandel Coastal Walk and picked us up at the other end. We had a fabulous day with an interesting commentary from Michael. Full marks.||||However, we felt that the rooms were looking a little tired and old-fashioned (furniture, fittings etc). An investment in refurbishing and upgrading could transform these spacious units into very desirable accommodation. ||||We also felt that the Continental breakfast was rather underwhelming. We appreciate that many B&Bs do not offer a cooked breakfast (sadly) but a Continental breakfast should offer a variety of fresh fruits, breads, cheeses etc as well as marmalade, jam and Vegemite.||||Given these comments, I wonder if the accommodation is a little overpriced, but I am not familiar with Coromandel prices.||||These are intended as constructive comments because, overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of our...

Perfect for hiking the area and coming back to a shower, having a nice glass of wine as you sit outside your room, and view the beautiful grounds.||||The true gem of this spot are Michael and Ross. We pulled in the first night and realized we had a flat tire. They immediately changed it for us and assisted in getting the tire fixed. They are full of information of what we could do as we traveled south and were to eat in the area. Breakfast was perfect and their company charming. Again this spot is why you...

We (2 couples) stayed here for 3 nights. Michael and Ross were excellent hosts and were a fund of information about the area. There are 4 ensuite units separate from the main house. They each have a fridge, microwave and full set of crockery and cutlery. There is no air conditioning but a fan is provided. Breakfast is served in the conservatory. One morning we were offered free range eggs from the neighboring farm - delicious. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the gardens are beautifully kept. They even offer to do your washing. They also run CoromandelDiscovery putting together tours of the peninsula. I have reviewed...
