Kings On Peace Apartments — Hotel in North Island

My girlfriend and I were very privileged to have stayed at King's on Peace for our last night in NZ. It was our first trip abroad together and it was the perfect place to say goodbye to NZ. We were absolutely blown away with the how much care and hospitality we received from Peter and his lovely wife and daughter, it absolutely made this holiday for us. The room was beautiful, everything we could have wanted was there and the hot tub was unreal! They really made sure to consider absolutely everything a guest would need and made us feel very comfortable, almost like spending time away with family! We hadn't organized transport for our activities planned and had been exhausted from a super busy schedule from our previous few days running around, Pete without a moment of hesitation offered unconditionally to take us to and from wherever we needed to be at no expense and all the while provided us with great conversation and company having us laughing on more than one occasion, it's no wonder everywhere we went, all the local businesses knew of him and his family, a reputation well earned. We couldn't have asked for a greater place to be in Rotorua. If only all businesses ran themselves with such pride and duty of care.

Wishing you all the success in the world mate. You deserve nothing less. If we were ever to come back to North Island, it would be 100% primarily be just to stay at Kings on Peace again!

Wonderful staff member Tristen? My partner & I had unfortunate experience at another hotel & quickly booked in with Kings on Peace for the following night. Early the next morning I ring and tell Tristen about what happened & she immediately offered for us to drop our luggage off to her then (as our room was not ready yet) & carry on with our day. Adding to this, this lovely woman let us check in early before the appointed check-in time. We really felt she went above & beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for.

A very beautiful and modern unit. Spacious bathroom, huge wet floor shower with amazing pressure. Added bonus was having a 2in1 washing machine/drier. All necessary kitchen appliances (including coffee pod maker) and utensils with a dishwasher drawer. Comfortable bed & bedding and wardrobe for storage and nice to have a big TV to watch instead of squinting 😂. The best surprise though was the two-man spa pool on our own private deck, definitely ended the night right!

Absolutely incredible. The hospitality and accommodations here made my 5 night stay in Rotorua wonderful. Our rental car had a dead battery two mornings in a row and with no hesitation, we got help from the hosts in getting the car jumped both times. In fact, since our rental didn't come with jumper cables, they actually went to buy some just to ensure we got our day started as soon as possible. I would without any hesitation book a room here again during a visit to Rotorua simply due to the amazing customer service (hands down, the best service I've ever received to date out of all my travels). And if we want to talk about the room themselves, fantastic! Fully furnished kitchen to make cooking a meal pretty convenient. In-house washer and dryer.
