Ranolf Fish & Chips — Local services in North Island

Very poor food would not recommend. I ordered a family Chinese pack which included chow mein , honey chicken , sweet & sour pork, egg foo young & fried rice with $10 chips. Now the chips were soggy Egg foo young had a very bad smell to it like an off smell. Sweet and sour pork had more batter than meat which didn't exactly taste like pork. Honey chicken wasn't too bad. Chow mein & fried rice was a combination mix the meat smelt like a dead animal the chicken did not taste like chicken at all.

Review on the fish burger. 2 for $11, good value. I love a fish burger with battered fish. This burger looked like the picture 😳 and looked delicious. For me, the batter was too thick. I was getting bites of just batter as the fish inside is a strip about 1cm wide. I prefer their fish and chips. Still have my favorite fish burger joint.

I did end up taking the batter off and just putting fish back in. Each to their own, but I'm not a thick batter...

Honestly thought this place was gonna be decent considering how many people were there but when I got to eating them, everything tasted like it had been deep fried in sanitiser or saline solution. Not even the ducks at the lake want to eat them. Very disappointed, would not recommend to anyone 🙄 Also not to mention the customer service, the phone rang almost 10 times whilst I was in there with people ordering and they just ignored it. Very slow...
