Presken Hotel was a sweet and sour experience for me and my hubby we lodged for 7 days.
The environment is okay beds, pillows and sheets are in top shape the room is beautiful on a whole.
My issue is with their bathroom and staff. We only experienced one outstanding staff he was so good and diligent.
MY DISAPPOINTMENTS
The baths and shower has some plumbing issues I don't like to stand in the dirt I just washed off my skin. Our room was upgraded after we had to carry our change of clothes to go shower in another room. The upgrade was from shower to bath that still had the same issue and oh we went from 2nd floor to 4th floor 😂😂😂😋😋😋 (PS. The upgraded room had the same plumbing issue. Water does not flow out from the bath but we got tired and decided not to complain). I would have said thank you for the upgrade but I guess the gesture was a compensation for my ruined stretch jeans.
I sent my white pants for a wash, it was a size 12 and a stretch jean but it came back a size 14. I would need big mama in it too if I ever have to wear it again. My husband almost was certain it was hand washed because of the outstretched areas which were in patches all over but the manager explained it was the drier possibly set too hot for it to handle.🙄🙄😢😢
Housekeeping/laundering never picked intercom calls, don't even bother. I just called the reception instead.
The kitchen never respects your orders. 3times I placed an order and asked for it to be spicy (more pepper) i think they decided to not put pepper at all. I stopped ordering and we found an eatery to take care of my pallet biko.
Complimentary Breakfast!!! Mtchewww I went once and gave up. The everlasting menu was boiled yam/egg sauce or bread and omelette then i was given two cubes of sugar then i realized 'this people no well oh' 😂😂😂😂😂😂 "Arab services" take it or leave it.
6.The kitchen ladies were busy discussing and insulting a guest who came down to eat not minding they could be heard from the kitchen.
The hotel is great the staff needs to be properly trained to serve, listen and do their job properly.
So you'll be like: "Debbie, would you lodge there again???"
Yes I will because its within my budget and has a great ambience, their rooms are clean and conducive. I hope they run some maintenance and train their staff.

The hotel isn't very clean, and while the elevator is small and old, it still works well. However, the TV channels are often scrambled, requiring guests to lodge complaints for a reset, which is quite inconvenient. Electricity fluctuates frequently, and the air conditioners in the rooms are outdated and noisy.
On the positive side, the meals are tasty, and complimentary breakfast is available in-room upon request. However, there are mosquitoes, though guests can ask for the room to be sprayed. Another issue is that after cleaning, towels are often not replaced, requiring multiple calls to housekeeping.

Actually replying to your comment. If i didn't use google maps you definitely wouldn't see my review... so please try to employ a more qualified personnel on you I.T department , so they can update your location on the map correctly . I would do that but I don't want to.
Your address kept stopping people along the express beside protea hotel. Your address on your map also put GRA. When you are not in Gra. So please rectify that and don't act Right. Because if you were, This review would have been great.
And when I finally got to the hotel. I complained and the lady at the reception kept quite. And did not even say. " oh we are sorry for the inconvenience " ... work on that too. Cos experience changes things.
