I love and hate buffets- Love them because of access to all that food. 🤩🤩 Hate them for exactly that same reason and because now I am hit with confusion & don’t know what to eat.
So I have developed a system - it’s simple, it’s called “there’s rice at home” - I never go for rice meals or common foods that I have at home.
And I usually start with protein because the Nigerian child in me is always trying to make up for the little protein I got in the form of meat growing up & because this was a late lunch, I had chicken in peanut sauce, which was most likely great from first bite but my local palate was wondering why the chicken was not fried & if I should look for Semo to finish up the soup (aka peanut sauce), I also had beef and fish in various sauces, and then salad.
Salad was really great. I loved every bite, it was a Potato/ Chicken salad. (Something Russian chicken salad) but it tasted like Nigerian chicken to me. Still it was really nice.
The Beef / Chicken in peanut sauce ended up being acquired taste because by the third bite, I was loving it & wondering if I should get a second helping but the salad was quite filling to be honest, so I didn’t.
Absolutely worth the cash Techpoint paid for it, because it was a Techpoint event and the lunch was for Speakers.

Read moreLocated on the first floor of Four Points Hotel In Victoria Island. The environment is serene and the restaurant is beautiful with lots of sitting space. The meal was delicious and there was a wide variety to pick from. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made pasta with lots of vegetables and seafood. It was quite interesting watching the chef's culinary skills in play. Every step of the process heightened the anticipation of the mouth-watering meal. Its a lovely and cozy place to hang out with family and friends while satisfying your craving for both local and continental dishes. If you are a lover of cool and quiet music, this may be an additional motivation for you to visit. Lest I forget, the service nicely complimented the ambience and cuisine as the waiters were at our beck and call, patiently directing and offering helpful information. You'll definitely will settle in and feel at home in no time. I look forward to returning with more friends and trying out all the other meals my stomach could not contain. I'm not sure what time of the day you'll like to visit but I did in the evening and I enjoyed the experience. One more thing... ensure that you put on your facemask and observe all COVID-19 protocols, otherwise you may never get the chance to taste the experience I have just explained. I hope this review helps and I look forward to reading yours when you...
