Divine Fountain Hotel Victoria Island — Hotel in Lagos State

This is the second time I'm staying in this hotel and i regret it. The security man looked confused first of all. The receptionist seemed like she didn't know what she was there for. I was looking for a budget room since I just needed a night. I was showed a room that had holes where insects and stuffs could creep in through the window unit. This was disgusting. I decided to take the one of 20K. Very bad decision. Room was big no doubt but the hotel needs serious overhauling. Furnitures dilapidated, the have only 3 channels and guess which? Zee world, Africa magic and super sports that shows old matches. Asking the receptionist she replies that's what her customers like. Food is horrible. Room service zero. For the amount i paid and the service rendered, i am very disappointed. This hotel should not be more than 7K a night. Imagine checking in and nobody asks for your ID. That's the height. I booked the hotel via booking.com and when I got there, I was told they are not happy with the amount at which I booked the room online, therefore hubby was given a room with peeled walls and unkept, no tissue paper in toilet and no response to any request. I was later told that next time, I should book directly with them and they will offer me a better room.||I guess they do not want to pay their dues for advertising on booking.com hence the kind of service my husband received.
