Posh Hotel and Suites Victoria Island — Hotel in Lagos State

The bathrooms are old and need to be refurbished, but the rooms are spacious and nice, but that means nothing if the basic amenities are missing. I paid 65k for a night and was asked to buy sachet water to shower because the hotel had no clean water. To make matters worse, one of the receptionists tried to extort money from me. He came to my room at night and demanded 10k in cash, claiming they had mistakenly given me a more expensive room than what I initially paid for. I called his bluff, but he started raising his voice. When I attempted to leave, he backed down and said I could stay. If I hadn’t been so sick that night, I would have left immediately. The final straw was being served the complimentary breakfast with an insect in it. I do not recommend this...

The Posh Hotel and Suites boasts a serene ambiance and a prime location in the heart of Victoria Island, offering a beautiful view. I particularly loved the decor in the Amazonas restaurant and bar. However, my stay was disappointing due to poor room maintenance.

The door, though equipped with a card lock, had worn-out frames, making me uneasy throughout the night. The restroom lighting was dim, and there was no hot water. To make matters worse, I found a dead roach in the restroom. Additionally, the TV decoder was not subscribed, leaving me with no entertainment options.

Overall, I felt like I wasted my money...

Not the best of experience. Was made to pay double for goat meat pepper soup...was billed N3,500 for the liquid content of the pepper soup and N3,500 for the goat meat....never ever have I heard of such. Then they had bed sheets and towel challenges reason they gave was that their washing machine dryer was bad, so the 3 nights I spent, my bedding was changed only once. Then cockroaches had a swell time at night, walking freely. They were all over. Not a good...
