We visited Eko Signature for our holiday in March 2020. Our first visit was in 2017 and we were let down by some elements but the then Manager was outstanding in his response - so we tried again. Unfortunately, the Manager had left. ||||The positive things about the hotel are the layout very spacious and clean. The decor is bright and modern. The two points are for the interior designer and architectural team. ||||The negatives are many.||The staff are almost without exception cold and unhelpful. Exceptions are Emeka, and I think another senior male, average height dark with glasses (whose name alludes me). These two members of staff were exceptionally polite, helpful and courteous. Some of the concierge are also delightful and helpful. ||||||We ordered tea on our arrival and we were presented with a selection of pastries and so on. They were all stale. We were charged for the pleasure even though we couldn’t eat the dry food. Not a great start.||We learnt during our first day not to use a credit card here so we paid the bill. ||||The bathrooms are spacious but they require more frequent maintenance. Cleanliness in the rooms is good but probably rushed. We rejected a couple of rooms as they were scruffy etc.||||The WiFi connection is temperamental and their system is just irritating. We had to get a voucher every day. Staying for 2 weeks this is just sloppy. ||||Staff are inconsistent in their response to problems. There were some issues which took too much time to get resolved. One staff would deliver an update about a simple request, another would contradict it. ||||I was surprised that not 1 member of staff asked us if we were enjoying our stay. ||||We ordered room service twice. It was awful, they never had our first choice and the food was bland and unremarkable. We chose not ti eat in the hotel after this. We never are breakfast once even though we paid due to lack of confidence in the quality. No member of staff cared enough to ask. ||||The grounds are nice but the balance between an events hotel and a nice place for a holiday is not right. It seems to be more attentive and rely on the latter more than the regular guests . ||||The attitude to customer service is third rate, we were always dismissed with a lie or curtness when we had an issue, unless it was the charming gentleman above. ||||At tje end of 2 weeks, due to the c19 situation, we could have stayed on but we were lied to about so many things, it was easier to go elsewhere. There attitude at this point was a mixture of ignorance and arrogance. I literally had to say we wouldn’t stay there if we were paid. ||||The place seems to be fading from its without the universal warmth, quality and absolute adherence to good standards. ||||After the government’s response to Coronavirus led to the cancellation of out fly. We were treated appallingly, given inflated prices to stay on, presented with an invoice for the horrible tea and pastries even though we’d already paid for them. It took the intervention of a manager to end the farce. ||||We did not enjoy our stay here and the 5 star client care is missing. Poor quality control of the food. Meanness, ( tea and stale food on arrival and attempts to double charge are simply ||unacceptable!||||||Rooms with balconies are not cared for. The outside is basic and not attractive.||||Staff do not value existing or loyal clients. There was a mixture of sycophantism mixed with cold indifference ||||The sad part is with more staff training, a staff overhaul and attention to detail this...

It’s a testament to the hotel’s commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction. I enjoyed my stay at Eko Hotels & Suites and appreciated the overall experience. However, I did encounter some challenges with the lighting during load shedding, which disrupted the atmosphere. Additionally, the internet connection was quite poor at times, making it difficult to stay connected. Improving these areas would greatly enhance the guest experience and ensure a more seamless stay. Thank you for considering this feedback! Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos sets a high standard with its exceptional guest service and housekeeping. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every need is met with warmth and professionalism. If you want to experience what I call a “360° Nigerian Leisure Cocktail,” experience then Eko Hotel is the place to be. Right from your arrival at its buzzing reception — beautifully scented, bright, and filled with friendly staff — you begin to feel a classic blend of African excellence and global hospitality. I recently had the pleasure of attending a student conference there, where I interacted with some brilliant young girls and boys. That day reminded me of why I believe Eko Hotel is a place where futures can begin— not just for guests, but for young talents too. As a youth-focused hospitality educator and young Women in the sector I have coined to be "HAT" (Hospitality,Aviation & Tourism) summit organizer, I also recall how Eko hotel offers casual hospitality work opportunities for my mentees. It is a stepping stone for them, and I would never stop recognizing how partnerships like this can open doors for the next female generation in hospitality, aviation, and tourism- to achieve their VALID career Dreams. Next year, Eko Hotel will clock 50 Golden Years .I heard at the conference. Fifty years of leading, serving, and setting standards in Nigerian hospitality! I believe this is not just a milestone — it’s a national symbol of consistency, culture, and class. I salute Eko Hotels and suites and it's management team,in advance for this major landmark, and I hope that in the spirit of their legacy, more visionary young women will get the chance to experience the power of excellence this hotel represents. As we prepare for our 2025 Pre-Summit for Young Women in Hospitality, Aviation & Tourism, stories like these remind us that our goals are possible.
