Bait Alharah — Hotel in Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Nizwa, Oman. It's located right in the historic city center, and the beautifully rebuilt traditional house added to the charm. Haitham, the owner, was incredibly helpful in guiding us to the parking spot, which can be a bit tricky to find through the narrow streets.

The whole experience was seamless, from the door code to the easy check-out process where we simply left the keys. The only minor drawback was the slightly small bathroom, but it still served its purpose well.

We stayed twice in Bait Alhara as Haitham the owner was a very friendly host plus the rooms were clean and reasonably priced. As far as I remember there are 4 rooms. All very cosy but not too spacious. Still the interiors are optimized and you even have a fridge, hairdryer and wooded sticks to hang your clothes. Bait Alhara is practically almost located inside Nizwa fort's garden. The rooftop invites for chilling and you have the best view towards the fort and the palm trees behind. There is a private parking in front with around 5-7 lots. Haitham will provide you with the necessary information for sightseeing or restaurants in the area. The whole area is under revamp and construction. Unit has a lot of potential. Location is prime, 3 minutes from Nizwa fort. It is just Bed...no breakfast. The rooms are clean, beds are fine, there is no smells. Decoration is very traditional and rooftop is amazing with direct view to fort. You need to request cleaning and other stuff if you stay more than a night. Wifi works average, not very fast, enough to check emails and basic net search. Team is available and very approachable. Sound proofing needs some improvement but owners are not accountable for noisy guests...some people just don't know how to behave. Fair price for...
