The hotel is very, very good value for money, and their friendly service is so fine. I highly recommend the hotel !!!|Especially, I would like to mention the Hotel Manager, Nader Hassan, for his outstandig service, helpful- and kindless. ||Actually, I should mention everyone for their service and helpfullness. Anything else would not be fair.||I stayed at the Dolphin for 5 nights at #404. It was a very good sized room, the bathroom window however could not be opened and there were water dripping on the bathroom floor near the toilet. This of course needed to be fixed but I did not mention this, because to me it did not matter.||They serve breakfast at the hotel, which is very, very nice, and very personalized service from their friendly chef and his staff. I had all the things I wanted including my daily omelet :) ||The hotel is situated Al-Kkuwair-area close to supermarket, where you find a lot of restaurants and only 10 min taxi drive from Muscats great Shopping Mall. If you want to go to the Quom Beach, the taxi will take you there for 2RO (10-15 min). Most taxi-trips in city will cost you 2.0RO (USD5).||Airport Transport: Just outside the hotel you can find local bus no 8, which takes you straight to the airport in about 45 min. Price is 0.500 RO (USD 1,50). For me it worked perfectly||I would not think twice in booking a room at the Dolphin Hotel again, if I decided to go to Muscat for holidays again.||Thank you...

This hotel is cheap for Muscat and well located, however I had problems from the moment I walked through the doors.||||The reception staff were unfriendly and just didn't seem to want you to ask them anything. I got to my room and picked up the TV remote only to have a couple of cockroaches scamper for cover. These weren't the only ones around and I must have killed about 10 overall. ||||Besides this, the room was OK, but looked over a dirty neighbouring building. The bed was comfy, but the headboard loose. I was not able to make any local Muscat calls from the phone in the room as it was just for internal calls only. Reception provided no alternatives for how I could make a call. ||||Staff, cleanliness and comfort are what make a hotel for me. This failed miserably on 2 of those. Thankfully I only booked...

Very very bad stay experience, worst stay I would say.. worst quality room , No services No facilities in the room Nothing was provided it was very basic room, payment card was not working. Staff behaviour was very bad not even bother to listen customer requests very arrogant specially the receptionist and staff further. Wifi charging plug, shower, nothing was working.
