It's basically food and beverages served from a trailer or I guess people refer to it as a food truck. But it's definitely all good!
The tables and seating were in the front, open terrace which made it airy and comfortable. But the unfortunate traffic is still overwhelming and crazy.
And speaking of crazy: I personally had 4 punks from the street come close to my table attempting to pull some kind of stunt. May have been theives possibly??
When Barbie the barista came up to them with menus trying to get them away to another table, that's when they vacated. This wasn't the young schoolers selling their candy; that I don't mind helping the unfortunate out or for a good cause.
No, these thugs were up to no good certainly. Perhaps the Coffee Max owner/manager should somehow contain the area to keep the harassors from entering the dining area with 1 way in and the same way out near the cash register entrance...
Ok now, gazing at the menu, all the dishes looked and sounded extremely good. So I ordered a Mocaccino and the special Soduck Promo sandwich. It had salami, turkey ham, pickle, tomato, house sauce and pesto on a grilled bagel sliced in half. Extremely delicious indeed - to say the least.
The only downgrade is they don't offer enough house sauce. The small serving they initially bring out, simply isn't enough for the...
Read moreNot bad at all. I had hot chocolate, an omelet and a smoothie. The shop sit on a corner it is an open air eatery. Service was fast and the servers were friendly. Menu's were written in both Spanish and English. Woo Whoo. The hot chocolate was so rich and creamy. The smoothie was very good, you can get it with or without sugar. You can definitely taste the natural fruits in it. NOW, the omelet... it was ok, maybe I'm spoiled from being in the states or from my other travels, but I thought the ingredients go on the inside? I was give a folded egg and the ingredients were on the outside.... No problem I thought it will just put them inside. I couldn't because it was fried shut. So ask for the ingredients to be placed inside. The biggest negative take away is ..... cigarette smoke. There's no smoking in the main part there was a table towards the outside where smoking was allowed. But who can...
Read moreI have been going by this café for several years now but the rain motivated me to go on my way to my favorite Saturday coffee spot. They have illy coffee which is some of my favorite! The service is excellent with perfectly prepared illy coffee! Nice folks here. Highly recommend when you want to get away from the more acidity Panamanian specialty Arabic beans. The african beans here tend to have less depth but smooth for a basic cup of Joe (normal for african beans) or the perfect Italian capacinno! I am discounting the service for continuing to speak english when it was clear spoke spanish and preferred to speak that. I understand that this is a Panamanian thing to speak english to people with white skin but seriously speak spanish when you know the person speaks it. My assumption is that the server doesn't know their own mother tongue! Show respect to the clients!!!! Otherwise,...
