If you're interested in getting to meet great people, in an interesting place, located next to the water, in a great spot within the hustle and bustle of Bocas Town, then this is the spot. We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Welcomed by Duricel ( not sure if I’ve spelt her name correctly), a ray of sunshine who was so helpful. Our room was sea view and had a view over the harbour. Yes you get the noise of the launchers/ boats but that’s to be expected with this destination. As with most of the colonial buildings, the rooms keep in theme, not modern, but functional.Breakfast was included in our booking which was delicious and sufficient , fruits, followed by choice of eggs and toast or pancakes with fresh orange or pineapple juice or the normal tea / coffee. Paraíso Caribeño is a very peaceful place to stay. Rooms are wide and comfortable, there's clean water available all the time, attention from staff is impressive, and the wood-made building reminds you of a cabin in the forest. A/C is so cold and the internet service is strong enough to watch movies without delays and the place itself is quiet, even though it's located beside one main street. On the other hand, the restaurant is something out of this world. We tried shrimps, beef, salads, and desserts, an everything was nothing but PERFECT.
