VIZA Hotel — Hotel in Arequipa

Modern, sleek, and stylish hotel. Our room was nice and renovated, also very clean! There is a nice rooftop bar with a view and they gave us free pisco sours to start off our vacation!

I was very happy with the staff, some spoke English, and all of them did their best to help us with reservations, using the safe, etc.

The rooms are very clean which is important!

Unfortunately, the wifi in our room was very bad and almost unusable. This ruined some of our evenings as we are 100% reliant on wifi for finding food restaurants and communicating with family back home. For this reason I deduct a star.

I went on a 3 week trip to Cusco, Puno and Arequipa. I am usually pretty easy to please when it comes to hotels. Cleanliness is the major thing for me. But this hotel not only was impeccably clean, but my room was very modern. Great staff, excellent fresh breakfast, and the location was awesome. A short 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas in one direction, and 2 blocks to the awesome Arequipa Market with shopping for anything you need. The hotel was a great experience. It was the best one of my entire trip. Highly recommend. If you can’t be happy with this hotel, you shouldn’t be traveling. Cleaner than 90% of hotels...

We were able to check in at 5am with no extra charge. Breakfast was good with barista style coffees available. The rooftop terrace has great views of the city and you are given a free welcome drink. The rooms are modern and clean, and you're only a short 10 minute walk from the main square. The staff are generally very helpful, Sergio, the bellboy/doorman is especially helpful, and will literally sprint to open the door for you. The WiFi could be improved, and net curtains could be installed to improve privacy...
