We arrived at the property and check in was smooth enough. We were shown our room and the first thing that hit us was the srong smell of mould in the room. We opened the window and turned the aircon on to try and dilute it but with little success.|The bathroom was small but the shower provided constant hot water.|Unfortunately the condensation water from the aircon ran down the inside of the wall, covering the floor and all that was on it to become soaked in water.|The bed was pretty comfortable and the room was quiet during the night.|The surprise of the stay was breakfast. Read moreI booked this place, and it was AWESOME! It's not a 5 star hotel, but they do have a 5 star service. Milagros at the counter was so helpful and nice, always willing to help with a smile. Victor, the administrator, personally picked us up from the airport at night, hooked us up with 2 amazing tour guides who took us through the jungle, and recommended a delicious restaurant down the street. Read moreThis hotel is clean and functional, but lacks any of the niceties you'd like on a vacation stay.||It does have a remote controlled AC unit in each room which is not a nicety but an essential in Iquitos.||The breakfast room is tiny (3 small tables) and the breakfast staff is friendly but inefficient.||The hotel staff in general is very friendly and helpful. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport at no extra cost.||All in all an ok place to stay at, if all you intend to use the hotel for is sleeping and nothing else.
