HOTEL KAARO — Hotel in Puno

We stayed at Hotel Puno for 2 nights and couldn't recommend it highly enough for travellers that are on a budget.|We arrived at 5am on the first morning and we were checked in efficiently to allow us to get as much sleep before checkout - which was slightly extended to maximise our amount of sleep.|The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Puno Cathedral and the city's plazas. Rooms are neat and tidy and the shower has hot water! We booked a tour around Lake Titicaca through the hotel - it was extremely reasonably priced and very well organised.|We had a night bus at 10pm after checking out in the morning and the staff were extremely accommodating, they allowed us to access the storage cupboard throughout the day and recommended that we chill in their living areas when required.|One of our members even forgot some personal items at the hotel which the staff helped return to...

pretty bad hotel! i was surprised with delta stay vacation reviews saying it is wonderful. ||the lady at the front desk is very nice though. and the hotel had packages for tours. but the other hotels had their own tour packages too. ||-BLOOD stain on bed sheet||-dead bug on curtains||-room is too tight. i have no where to walk without tripping with our luggages||-hallway is too tight||-room is cold||-we were not comfortable||-i finally found other reviews. one said he even went inside the room and there was no bed! i can believe it!||we went searching for other hotels close by and closer to the plaza. all were much nicer than kaaro hotel. these hotels even let us go inside and look at their rooms:||Hotel Hacienda plaza de armas is nice||Casona Plaza Centro is nice||Tierra Viva Puno...
