Marlon's House Puno - Perú — Hotel in Puno

The room was large and the bed was comfortable which was great. The lady on the desk was very friendly. The view from the room was good as you could see the lake in the distance. The walk to the main area wasn't far and the hostel is in a quiet area, although there was a party going on nearby when we stayed until about 2am (bad luck). ||The wifi was intermittent and the shower was warm. ||Breakfast was well below expectations. It was served 6.30-9am and when we came at 8am there was no bread left. There was some cereal but no bowls or milk so had to wait until someone came so we could ask for bowls and milk. We asked for some bread so we could make use of the jam and butter, and other toppings but they had none, so our breakfast was some sugar puffs and a few grapes. The coffee was like sludge and the worst we've had in a long time unfortunately. Maybe it was a bad day.||There's a sloped, muddy area next to the hotel with 2 swing doors and a chain/padlock where 2-3 cars...

Everything was fine except the fact that after leaving our luggage at the reception desk (we went for a trip and they offered such service) we found our luggage in a state that someone tried to open/steal from it.

I have a special bag for my backpack, and it was "unrolled" which for sure i didn't leave like this. Probably, they were not so happy when they realized that after unrolling it, there is a padlock on the zip. My friend had her backpack unzipped. The view from the higher floors is amazing, the room is comfortable and fairly priced. The staff if helpful and Marlon himself is a hero.
