Hotel Palmas Reales — Hotel in Trujillo

This is a hotel without pretensions but that has certain advantages: first, its location, which is very central, just 5 blocks from the Plaza de Armas, in front of the Mansiche Stadium and a few steps away from the Gran Chimú Coliseum.

Secondly, and because of its location, it is very easy to get pharmacies, shops, supermarket, banks, restaurants, etc.

Thirdly, the price they charge for accommodation is quite fair and, since they do not have an elevator, it depends on the level you like to locate yourself in. For example, PEN 60 for a person in the 4th. floor, with breakfast included. This consists of a juice (they gave me papaya the two days I stayed there (it was very good), coffee (pasado, as is the tradition in Perú) and three small rolls of bread with your choice between butter (I think it's margarine, but I'm really not sure), scrambled eggs or jam, enough to start the day in good shape.

As for the rooms, these are not very spacious and lack a table and chair to work, but they are clean (although I got a dirty paper in the window, behind the closed curtains). They have a screen and cable TV. The integrated bathroom is spacious, clean and comfortable, equipped with shampoo, soap and toilet paper. There is hot water ... in the shower, once every 2 times.

The attention is friendly and helpful.

Sometimes you get a pearl or ruby in the least suspected places and that happened to me during my stay in Palmas Reales. The pearl is a girl named Beatriz, Bachelor of Tourism, originally from a neighboring place, Ancash. She works in the morning shift until midafternoon, and performs various functions, always with a smile, with great kindness and being helpful at all times. She helped me to locate a specific bank and a money exchanger, she satisfied various requirements and requests that I made and answered all the questions with which I bombarded her, from the weather to the hotel industry in the city. Her presence adorns the hotel and on your visit, she will surely do what she can to help you. THANK YOU BEATRIZ!!! Estamos ante un hotel sin pretensiones pero que tiene algunos atractivos: primeramente, su ubicación, la cual es muy céntrica, a solo 5 cuadros de la Plaza de Armas, enfrente al Estadio Mansiche y a pasos del Coliseo Gran Chimú.

En segundo lugar, y por su ubicación, es muy fácil conseguir farmacias, tiendas, supermercado, bancos, restaurantes, etc.

En tercer lugar, el precio que cobran por el hospedaje es bastante justo y, ya que no cuentan con ascensor, aquel depende del piso en que gustes ubicarte. Por ejemplo, PEN 60 para una persona en el 4to. piso, con desayuno incluido. Este consta de un jugo (me dieron papaya los dos días que me quedé allí, muy bueno, café pasado y tres pequeños panes con tu elección entre mantequilla (creo que es margarina, pero realmente no estoy seguro), huevos revueltos o mermelada, suficiente para iniciar el día con buen humor.

En cuanto a las habitaciones, estas no son muy amplias y adolecen de una mesa y silla para trabajar, pero son limpias (aunque conseguí un papel sucio en la ventana, tras de las cortinas cerradas). Cuentan con una pantalla y televisión por cable. El baño integrado es amplio, limpio y confortable, dotado con champú, jabón y papel toilette. Hay agua caliente… en la ducha, una de cada 2 veces.

La atención es amable y servicial.

A veces uno consigue una perla o rubí en los lugares menos sospechados y eso me ocurrió en mi estancia en Palmas Reales. La perla es una chica llamada Beatriz, Licenciada en Turismo, oriunda de un lugar vecino, Ancash. Ella está en el turno de la mañana hasta media tarde, y realiza diversas funciones, siempre con una sonrisa, con suma amabilidad y siendo servicial en todo momento. Me ayudó a ubicar un banco específico y un cambista, satisfizo diversos requerimientos y pedidos que le hice y contestó todas las preguntas con que la bombardeé desde el clima hasta la hotelería de la ciudad. Su presencia adorna el hotel y en tu visita seguramente hará lo que esté en su mano por ayudarte....

I stayed with a friend from nov 24 to 30. Dobble room. With a friend. Im from this city, but needed a hotel room for my friend.| Very comfortable place, very clean. Also all furniture is new, soncr the hotel is only 3 months all. You have breakfast included, not much, the classic continental breakfast. You need to make sure u tell them u need the room to be clean, if that is what you want. |Hotel is not in yhr middle of downtown trujillo, but u can easily walk to it is about 15 min walk to main square and you va get to know some of the streets anf churches.|My only bad review will be the noise. Do not stay by the window if u want ro rest, night time is not a problem, but in the morning trujillo awakes and does early. So try to stay off the windows and maybe choose an inside room.|Enjoy trujillo!! I always do, ...

Pésima atención. No tienen una política bien conformada, el desayuno regular a malo y no hay variedad, no dan tolerancia de visitas. No cambian las sábanas o almohadas, solo lo hacen si se les menciona. No es una estructura como para un Hotel de 3 estrellas. El personal no tiene ni conocimiento ni la actitud por querer resolver inconvenientes por parte del cliente, el WiFi es pésimo y no llega a los pisos superiores. Los canales de la TV todos son analógico nada HD. EN POCAS PALABRAS, PARECE UN HOSTAL DE BARRIO CON UNA...
