It is a nice hotel with gym, sauna and massage. Depending on the room category, there is an extra charge. We traveled with our Yorski. The hotel offers extra rooms for it. We were accommodated in a deluxe room. It was normally equipped (smart TV, air conditioning, telephone, queen size bed, bathroom with shower). The instantaneous water heater for the shower works only at the beginning, then cold water comes out. We had to pay an extra PHP 750 per night for our dog. For what?.. Thought the room is extra for dogs. He sleeps on the floor, the hotel does not provide anything. Not really pet friendly, we got to feel that for the first breakfast, when we had to eat breakfast far away from the breakfast buffet on the terrace and that at 17 degrees outside temperature. It rained into the hotel lobby and bar as everything is open. The staff is just busy soaking up the water somehow. The typhoon runner on the 3rd day showed that the hotel had nothing to offer, because of this we had to spend in the hotel. No bar service, no decent lobby, no cafe (only one restaurant where our dog was not wanted). The staff is friendly, helpful but not really well informed. I was bothered by the staff always standing around in groups and talking loudly. Disturbs when eating, because you feel observed by it. We ate in the room and had the food brought to us by room service. The food tastes good, is nicely arranged and the price is reasonable. You don't necessarily have to eat out. Overall, I can recommend the hotel, although the price was too high. The rooms are in need of renovation and unfortunately there is no heating. It was cold in the room. The parking space for the car was generous and in the underground garage. So the car is protected from...

There's still work to do. The rooms are good, you can hear the TV from the room next to you, so the rooms are not sound proof. The spa services are good, the masseus knows what to do, a very technical massage, not something you can't find somewhere else, the charge for the massage is 800 pesos per hour. The gym is basic, enough to fulfill your basic needs. The service of the people is always polite and respectful, which is to be expected in a hotel from this service. As of beginning of August, only one elevator is working and the other one hasn't worked for 4 days, workers are not aware nor do they particularly care about when it'll be fixed. The breakfast buffet is the real let down for a foreigner expecting a great selection I was really disappointed. First of all, you eat in the open area which has mosquitoes in it, not fun, not sure why we can't eat in the closed area. They ask you to wear a mask, only for the 2 minutes you are picking up your food(super strange request, covid restrictions has been lift off already in airplanes, so here in the open air for 2 mins while picking up food ? Extremely illogica) the food itself very basic, you have the usual "heavy" options like beef, pork, chicken(Filipino breakfast), very few 'lighter' options for foreigners, like vegetables, salads , cheese, etc. The taste as well is nothing to write about. The juice is too sweet, omelet is average at best, the melon isn't sweet, the cherry tomatoes are sour, instead of sweet. Generally, disappointing. I didn't order anything from the restaurant, but I think with their prices I'll just go with 'foodpanda' app....

We book on this hotel bec our favorite hotel in camp john hay was fully booked. We stay for agonizing 5days and 4 nights from nov 12-16, 2017. When we inquire, we were told that 1 room was left so we immediately grab it only to find out that 1 of our friend was able to booked walkin on the same date. In all the hotels weve visited, this is the first time we have experienced that we were required to pay in full upon checkin. When we inquire why they have this kind of policy? According to the manager, they were times that the guest was able to slip out without paying their bills. So, their apparent lack of control and security put the burden and inconvenience to new incoming guest. We are 3 adults when we checkin so an extra bed was provided, however only 1 pillow was provided for the extra bed, unlike the standard occupancy of 2 pax were 4 pillows was readily available. Extra pillow requires additional fee. Same setup goes with the cup, saucer, glass and toileries, only for 2 pax were provided, its not automatic even if you pay for 3 pax, you have to ask for it and explain it PATIENTLY to the housekeeping and front desk! The room is small and the rates are not competitive compared to others. The staff during breakfast buffet are not that attentive, you have to call their attention to refill the food and provide spoon and fork. The front desk and housekeeping are not that courteous. This is the worst hotel weve have been and were not coming back and neither recommend this. Our friend who also booked here share the same comment and...

Our experience at Grand Sierra Pines Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by their courteous and attentive staff, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect, nestled in a peaceful area with breathtaking pine tree views, yet still close enough to Baguio’s main attractions. The cool mountain breeze and serene surroundings made it an ideal place to relax and unwind. Our room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with a modern touch while keeping a cozy, homey feel. The balcony view of the pine trees and mountains was absolutely refreshing. We truly appreciated the comfortable beds, crisp linens, and the quiet environment that guaranteed a good night’s rest. The amenities were equally impressive. We enjoyed their art gallery, spa, fitness gym, and well-maintained gardens. The breakfast buffet was delightful, generous choices, fresh ingredients, and a perfect blend of local and international flavors. What truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service. Every staff member, from reception to housekeeping, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their smiles and genuine hospitality really stood out. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in Baguio with excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and top-notch amenities, Grand Sierra Pines Hotel is absolutely the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!
