LE VAIN 231 Korean Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Baguio

Vibe and Service: Standard Korean Style Cafe/Bakery Went quite early in the morning, so I could smell the freshly baked bread in the air. Would be an ok place to hang out in. Staff were nice and attentive. Only a few parking slots in front of the store.

Food: Good selection of breads, pastries, cakes and drinks. Got a lot of bread to bring to Manila. The breads were baked fresh, so they were still quite warm. Standout was the Black Rice Loaf! Had a chance to taste it when I got home. 10/10. It had a mild nutty flavor which was pleasant. Very fluffy, as expected from a Korean style bakery.

While waiting for our breads, I ordered their Matcha Latte. It was bad. Too much milk! Overpowered the Matcha flavor, could barely taste it. Also got a Strawberry Latte for my sister, which she says...

Anyway, we came here to try one of Le Vain’s best-selling bread, the Cheese AND Series. Its strawberry and cheese filling was tasty, and the bread was soft. Then, for the cake, the Strawberry Fresh Cream was light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, which I liked, but it lacked the strawberry flavor. Went to Le Vain Bakery after my morning bike ride. Very thankful that it was open at the time I visited. It was around 8am they were open early compared to other bakeries. They offer various pastries. The one I tried was a bread with hotdog covered with bacon. It was delicious just the right amount of flavor. The other pastry I tried was the chocolate chip something(forgot the actual name) it was dry. It’s not my cup of tea but it was good enough to fill your day.
