INATO LANG BAI - Hostel — Hotel in Bantayan Island

The owner of this place is trying to rip us off by asking more money after I paid. She kept calling me, sending customer service in booking.com to ask more money for damages which I already paid a repair of her lousy/low quality door construction that got destroyed while we were staying there. She insisted for me to pay two days more even we've already checked out of the said place and the charges are even higher than what I paid in booking.com just because my boyfriend is a foreigner. I have been traveling even outside Philippines but I never encountered such behavior who is so desperate to make more money from customers. I understand a lot of businesses are being affected by this pandemic crisis but that doesn't give you any right to exploit or force people to give you more money. Besides, I did not sign any contract that I have to pay damages for certain amount just out of goodwill I still gave the caretaker some cash to have...

Nice place about 150 meters from a public beach with a big simple furnished clean room ! i paid 1800 php for one night. they just have 4 rooms including one dorm/family room where 8 or more people stayed and they were noisy until 1.30 am. just 1 star less because no TV and the bamboo bed was not very comfortable ! hope they will put smart TV's and a thicker matress in their rooms then for sure i will stay there again special i like big rooms with a split...

Inexpensive, yet cosy and convenient, comfortable and quiet. The room has a stove, cooking utensils, hot and cold water, wifi, all the basics are there. Also walking distance from the beaches. The innkeeper is very friendly, she can give you best advice on places to visit around. Will come back again and I definitely recommend to anyone who would like to get away from city buzz and noise and experience paradise...
