I LOVE KINHASON GOODVIBES RESTOBAR — Restaurant in Cebu

We were few days on holiday on Bantayan island, and tried this restaurant, we are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), and it was raining like hell when we stopped by it, they authorized us to park our car just at the front while the rain was very-very strong.

So we get in, and order some seafood, when the garlic rice arrived to our table, I immediately saw it was just perfectly cooked, not too much, just perfect, and the taste was really good, and everything else was just as good.

Thus, we get back the tomorrow and the tomorrow and the tomorrow, you know, when you find a good place, with good food, you just get back, even our kids asked to go to that restaurant as they loved the way they cooked. Oh... And french fries are REAL french fries, not the tiny ones, and they are perfectly fried!

The waitress is exceptional, very friendly, always smiling and welcomed us back each time, we saw the owners as well, nice people, recognizing me the tomorrow. when you feel at home, you feel good, and it's this atmosphere that you feel in this restaurant.

This is a bar that stands out from many of the others in the vicinity. A honky hangout. It is open to the street and so provides an atmosphere similar to bars in Bangkok where clients can watch the world go by, while catered by friendly and responsive staff. The beers (including the rarely stocked Cerveza Negra) are pleasingly cold and koozies are thoughtfully provided to extend the chill. While seafood seems their specialty, I enjoyed a voluminous cheeseburger. But there seems to be a major disconnect between the bar and the kitchen, which originally I thought was just a blip in communication. Twice on successive days my meal order went astray. VERY long delays which spoilt an otherwise good experience. Some of the food is hands-on and it would be nice to have something better than little pieces of flimsy dunny paper to wipe the mitts. Overall, prices are quite reasonable and compare well with those charged in the sports bar that I haunt...

I lucked into the best bar in Santa Fe when I sat down for a quick beer before joining friends for dinner at another restaurant. I did come back later on in the evening and the people who work here are really special, thank you all for a very enjoyable evening! I did return the next night for dinner and the baked scallops are the best I’ve had not only in Santa Fe, but anywhere. The baked were so good, I had a second order and that became my dinner along with an order of aninikad ! I do wish I’d have tried more items that are on the menu but now I have another great reason to return to Bantayan Island, haha !
