Prepare to have your taste buds blown away—this place is that good. From the first bite to the last, every dish is a masterpiece of flavor and craftsmanship. If I could, I’d just move in here. Seriously, after my 4th and 5th visits, I’m still discovering new reasons to rave about this spot. Check out the photos and video—you’ll see why! And if you’re lucky enough, ask Jamie for the off-menu special, Thor’s Hammer—a true culinary delight.
By the 3rd visit, I was hooked. The burger? Somehow even better than the first time. The Cuban sandwich? A delightful explosion of flavor. The tacos? Unforgettable. The service? Consistently incredible. This isn’t just a place you visit—it’s a place you return to, again and again.
Let’s talk about that burger, though. Absolutely phenomenal—flawless in every way. Real, juicy beef cooked to perfection, topped with smoked brisket so tender it practically melts. Every bite is a saucy, messy, utterly satisfying dream. And the burrito my date ordered? It hit every high note—bold flavors, perfect textures, absolute perfection in a wrap.
Service here is next-level. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel like you belong. Drinks? The margarita was an art form—sweet, strong, and packed with flavor. And then there’s the BMFB (Big Mother F*ckin’ Burger)—a showstopper that deserves every bit of its bold name. The owner himself even stopped by to share our excitement over the food, which made the experience even more special.
The atmosphere? Perfectly curated—a mix of chill and upscale vibes. It’s like stepping into a hidden paradise in MJ Mall. Sure, getting here might feel like navigating a maze of distractions, but once you arrive, you’ll know it was worth every step. The Bantayan Burrito and Burger Company isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a destination for food, drinks, and unforgettable memories. I can’t wait to come back and keep working my way...
Read moreAfter a long and tiring day, we went there very hungry and ordered a few items right away. Despite arriving before other customers, we had to wait for an hour while they were served first. The burger was the worst I have ever had, with some parts being raw. When I pointed this out, they claimed it was cooked rare, but I know the difference between rare and raw. The burrito was also subpar.
They should consider removing these items from their menu as they clearly do not know how to prepare them properly. Don’t waste your time here.
Response to Owner Message: I suggest you try your own food before checking the CCTV and making unhelpful comments. You would realize how tasteless and gritty the burger patty was. I ate half of it because I had no other choice and super hungry. I sent it back to the kitchen to be cooked more, but even that couldn’t fix the taste and at the end, I left the other half. Also the patty was not in a single shape but rather a disjointed piece of meat, and it was too thick for a hamburger. How did you even do that? Your nine years of experience really speaks. I'm not here to criticize but to provide constructive feedback. You can check my other reviews in Bantayan for reference.
If you are into checking CCTV’s please also tell that how much we waited for a simple burrito and how many other clients served before us even when we came...
Read moreOutstanding food. I ate notorious P.I.G. and it was very delicious. My girlfriend ate tacos and she also enjoyed them a lot. Another day we also tried Quesadillas, Nachos and a Margherita.
Friendly staff.
I was however distracted by the owner being 'tipsy' and shouting around some stories with other customers while drinking shots and beers and ignoring us wanting to order. With ignoring I mean that he didnt once check if we needed something or even looked in our direction - we waited for 10 minutes. Because of loud music and the entire scene that took place we felt uncomfortable to walk to the bar and order so we waited for staff noticing our hands waving.
That itself would still be alright if he hadn't also angrily shouted at his wife (?) upon her asking him to write some information down for a passerby asking a question - and drinking excessive amounts of alcohol in front of his wife and kid (?). Not that I am the one to tell some other adult how to handle their life but that made me feel somewhat bad for us, other guests, his wife and kid (?) and staff. Maybe it was just a stressful day for some reason out of my sight, but that doesnt seem like an appropriate behaviour to me.
When we went there the second time the owner seemed alright again.
Anyways, we can recommend the food there. It...
