Read moreIt's hard to find a decent Thai food restaurant outside the city but Thai Phoon in Bantayan Island had change that. I knew it was good after reading reviews but being a Thai food lover I have to try it for my self.
I had arrived past 8PM just an hour before they closed. The restaurant had modern take of Thai restaurant. You can still see the Thai influence from its interiors. It is cozy but I prefer the al fresco since it was evening.
I got Thai Phoon Platter with satay, pandan chicken, papaya salad, fried spring roll and fried chicken and bowl of red curry. There are hit and missed on the platter. I love the pandan chicken, fried spring roll and papaya salad from the choices. The red curry was really good that you want for more. The food were nicely presented.
The thai ice tea had stick to its original taste which I love.
The staff were ok, but could be more friendlier. I would understand it since we were the last customers to dine it before closing.
