Our experience at the Thai Phoon restaurant in Sta. Fe, Bantayan was nothing short of exceptional. As vegetarians, we were pleased with the delectable options available, particularly the sumtom, red curry, and green curry – each bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The chefs showcased a remarkable skill in crafting dishes that not only catered to our dietary preferences but also left our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. What truly set this establishment apart was its commitment to excellent customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. From providing insightful recommendations to accommodating special requests, their attentiveness added a personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcomed. The ambiance of the restaurant contributed to the overall enjoyment of our visit. A perfect blend of Thai-inspired decor and a cozy atmosphere created the ideal setting for a delightful meal. The attention to detail in both the presentation of the dishes and the restaurant's aesthetic underscored a commitment to quality that left a lasting impression. Furthermore, the menu exhibited a diverse selection, allowing patrons to explore various Thai culinary delights. The vegetarian choices were not only limited to a few token options but were an integral part of the menu, reflecting a thoughtful approach to catering to different dietary preferences. In summary, the Thai Phoon restaurant in Sta. Fe, Bantayan, stands out as a culinary gem. Its delectable vegetarian offerings, top-notch customer service, and inviting ambiance create a dining experience that is both memorable and highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Thailand in this charming locale.

It's hard to find a decent Thai food restaurant outside the city but Thai Phoon in Bantayan Island had change that. I knew it was good after reading reviews but being a Thai food lover I have to try it for my self. I had arrived past 8PM just an hour before they closed. The restaurant had modern take of Thai restaurant. You can still see the Thai influence from its interiors. It is cozy but I prefer the al fresco since it was evening. I got Thai Phoon Platter with satay, pandan chicken, papaya salad, fried spring roll and fried chicken and bowl of red curry. There are hit and missed on the platter. I love the pandan chicken, fried spring roll and papaya salad from the choices. The red curry was really good that you want for more. The food were nicely presented. The thai ice tea had stick to its original taste which I love. The staff were ok, but could be more friendlier. I would understand it since we were the last customers to dine it before closing. I can say a very decent Thai restaurant and must say an authentic one that Bantayan Island can be proud of.

Overall experience was good, place is nice and cozy, but our experience with their food could have been better. Ordered these dishes on our visit: Papaya Salad - 4/5, could have been more spicier, already asked for the spiciest level Tom Yum Fried Rice - 4/5 - taste was good, could taste the galangal but the dish is too salty, could have been spicier as well. requested the spiciest level Drunken Noodles - 4/5, loved the wok flavor on the noodles Chicken Pandan - 2/5, chicken was dry, sadly Minced Chicken Krapow 1/5 - this dish comes with very small amount of basil, had to ask the staff if there are any basil on it, was told that it was minced Mango Sticky Rice - 1/5 - very small portion of mangoes and they were sour, sticky rice was not cooked enough, sauce was kind of watery. :( Will still visit this place on our next trip to Sta Fe, and hopefully we’ll have a better food experience. :)

wors food on the island and sad experience, let me explain, we ordered 2 starters with water for our dinner the place was half full with live music inside, we were served by a yang man very kind and professional he took our order perfect all good, the sad part starts when we asked for the wifi password another waitress who brushed us over telling us her stuff will come and help us (5stars professional boss) she apparently was to busy to go inside and cash in someone else's bill the sad part is she faked putting in the tips jar a nice blue banknote from a very happy guest, she folded the banknote and pressed it in hall way and then closed the fist and took the mony for here and turned around went in the kitchen, I turned my head over and asked my wife if she senn what i sow and she replied she can't do that, that's not normal, the sad part continues with our food that came half cooked and I blame the boss lady not the chef, because se was bossing around everybody the waiters the barman, we will definitely won't come back to eat there ever again and will not recomand it to no one, if you are the owner don't bother to reply just fire all your stuff and keep all the tips for your self, and keep serving people...
