Larry’s Sarapoi — Restaurant in Cebu

By far the best place I've eaten at on the Island. Delicious fillet steak, fries and salad with a lovely sauce. The sizzling steak was superb also. The cheese burger was probably the best burger I've eaten including in London, USA and throughout Europe.

Service was amazing, very friendly staff. Larry is a true gentleman.

I will definitely be returning here and will be every time I'm back on the island.

Tomorrow going to have the curry which I've heard excellent reviews on.

Came back again and had the vindaloo which is absolutely amazing. As good of not better than the Indian restaurants I have had this dish in London.

The shrimp in garlic butter is very tasty and you get a good size portion.

Squid adobo was delicious as well.

craving grilled fish, we hit this restaurant with high hopes fueled by promising online reviews. sadly, our tastebuds left disappointed. the lapu-lapu, the star of the show, was sadly a blank canvas. grilled well, yeah, but zero marinade, zero seasoning, zero personality. it's like the chef forgot the spices even existed. the sides didn't fare much better - fries and veggies steamed into bland oblivion, not even a whisper of salt to perk them up. the rice, a mushy mess, joined the symphony of blandness.

maybe we caught a bad night, but the ambience didn't exactly soothe our culinary blues. the room throbbed with the boisterous chatter of a grumpy chorus of loud dudes (cue the old white men bingo!). all in all, not the grilled fish haven...

Larry the owner is very helpful and rides around the area on his bike promoting his restaurant. Glad he talked with us and we ate here. The food is excellent and great sauces that compliment the dishes. Wine is sold by the glass and bottle along with beer and other drinks. We have eaten here three times and our experience is that Larry takes pride in his food and service. This is one of our favorite restaurants and the food comes out piping hot, I mean you have to wait a few minutes to not burn your mouth. Larry watches everything and before you can say anything he sees it and will be standing at your table. Great job Larry you do an excellent job and are very good to...
