Dynasty Tourist Inn — Hotel in Cebu City

A Pleasant and Comfortable StayMy partner and I stayed at this hotel for almost a week and overall, we had a great experience. The room was spacious enough for two people, and could even comfortably accommodate a small family. The large bed was perfect for a restful sleep, and the air conditioning worked well, keeping us cool throughout our stay.The bathroom was clean, although we did encounter a minor issue with the shower head at the beginning — black particles were coming out, but this was promptly addressed. We also noticed that the room had a slightly oldish smell on the first day, which might be due to the building being a bit aged. Still, for the price and the size of the room, it’s definitely a good bargain.We appreciated the daily housekeeping service; staff would come in to tidy up and collect the trash, which helped maintain cleanliness throughout our stay. Hot water could be requested from the kitchen staff starting at 7 AM in case no thermos was available, which was a nice touch.The hotel staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed — a definite highlight of our stay. The location is also convenient, with a 7/11 and several stores nearby (though some close early at night). For a local food experience, there’s authentic Filipino barbecue right outside the hotel in the evenings, and a number of restaurants are within walking distance.All in all, we had a relaxing and comfortable stay, and we would definitely consider coming back. One of the worst. Towels are gray. Visitors kept banging their doors because of a baby's cry. The desk lady kept calling me at the middle of the night because of an unpaid bill. I rented 4 rooms and did not declared the kids since I saw that the rooms are good for 4. Told her that they are kids and the advertisement said that it is good for 2 adults and 2 kids. I requested that my bill be sent through email and I will pay it online. She ordered me to complain to agoda. I told her I have no complains as I plan to pay it for me to be able to sleep. Their phones for all of the 4 rooms are not working properly and the desk lady keep on putting the phone down and ordered me to settle it downstairs. Super bastos and sarcastic even if I answer her in whisper. I am tagalog and I think she do that to dismiss me and avoid talking in tagalog. It ruined my night and wasnt able to sleep just to woke up in the morning with another lady desk saying the kids are actually accommodated in the rooms and I dont need to pay for some. That night I was planning to have a bonding with my cousins with a face masks and other beauty products. The lady desk took all my time insisting that I should pay in cash. I smelled something fishy and was correct in my assumption. The end jusitfied the means. Pera-pera lang talaga ang labanan. Someone so rude in a foreign place really caught me off guard... and I think other tourist with their family with them would really feel this. By the way, their rent is not the same as seen online as they have hidden charges. Their 800+ really costs...

No cable -they say that the cable provider in the area were the problem but probably not since I have checked in other hotel in the same area that have a cable connection Non existent wifi -they say that the wifi is available on common area. Poor maintenance, I feel that the linens bedsheets were not washed. Receptionist is terrible. Did not inform or reminds earlier if we are going to extend our stay or not. They just assumed that we are not going to extend and then accepts other reservation??? We were just shocked when we wanted to extend that when the receptionist said that we cannot extend because our room is already reserved because they don't have any control over those who reserve via agoda??? Really??? Sino niloloko niyo? What really irks me is yung rude receptionist making a face "it's not our fault". It's clearly a lapse on their end. Well I'm not just the only one who's saying that the receptionist have an attitude problem. I really don't recommend this hotel yes its cheap but rude staff and a rundown place? Just add a few more and you could find many hotels with great staff and...
