100000/10
The staff were very responsive and prompt to my inquiries. Its our first family vacay so as the planner, I wanted everything to be a smooth as possible. And hindi ako nagkamali in choosing Hamersons Hotel :)
Location- its literally at the heart of the City. One ride away to restos, malls, places we wanted to see & visit. Very near sa bilihan ng pasalubong :) Its a grab-ride away from everything.
Room- we booked 2 rooms, since we travelled as a fam (5 adults with 1 toddler), we had the connecting room. And i must say, the rooms were very child friendly!! My toddler can roam around w/o getting untog 😁😆 Plus they had amenities na.
Breakfast- waaaaah, i love their complimentary breakfast. 😭 Super sulit since included na sha sa bayad. +++ If you are planning to have a day tour, the breakfast was a life saver! During our tour we were like, "buti nalang nag breakfast tayo sa hotel." Hihi. Bc we were full! =)
Wifi- tho at somepoint the connection was poor, it was ok naman. I had to work at night so I just had to use my mobile data. Not a big deal, for me.
Staff- 1million/10. They were smiling all the time, very courteous, very warm & welcoming. If by any chance we will be back in Cebu, I would love to stay here again. What i love pa is they allowed us to have our complimentary breakfast packed so we can bring it to the airport bc we left early on our 4th day. 🥹🤧 You guys are the sweetest. 💖 Highly commendable.
Over all we enjoyed our stay!! Thank you Hamersons staff for the pleasant stay. See you guys...
Read moreThe location is great. My parents and I stayed here for a couple of days before I could move in to my dorm so it was accessible to almost anywhere.
The rooms are great and properly maintained. They are also nicely decorated.
The bathroom was clean and modern which I like.
The security guards and the cleaners were friendly. I’m not so sure about the receptionists though.
The downsides:
Almost all of the taxi drivers had a HARD time finding the location of this place.
SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. We arrived pretty late at night because of the schedule of our flight, paired with about 20 minutes of finding the hotel. And when we were finally checking in, there was a bit of an inconvenience. Probably that the receptionist was not paying too much attention because she ended up charging us for a room that we didn’t book and was much expensive than ours despite telling us that it was the actual price of the room only to be downgraded to the room that we initially booked for the next following days because her other coworker saw the error. It was alright with us because that was where we originally planned to stay but the whole ordeal could have been avoided.
What made us a little bit uneasy of the property is the fact that they won’t refund us but would just rather us order foods from their café that is within the amount of the excess that we paid. We didn’t really want to eat anything off of there but we had no choice just to get our...
Read moreI checked in with my senior mom as a place of "refuge" from recent unforeseen circumstances hours before the long weekend. We stayed for about 3 nights. She chose this hotel because she said they stayed there (with my family who has a PWD) around pre-pandemic era, (maybe 2018) and she said they loved it and they liked the staff. I didn't give full stars for our experience because eventhough most staff members greeted us anytime they encounter us, they always seem to be in a hurry and slightly edgy. My mom told me she missed the previous staff who chatted with them like they were just good neighbors and she was kinda disappointed how we feel like the current ones are just waiting for us to finish and go instead of letting us chill for a bit. Is it because we don't look like celebrities or people with old money? 🤣 I just wonder. The ones she liked and felt warmth from was their old security guards. They were polite and we somehow always feel home because of them from the moment we enter and leave. Overall, it is still worth staying there. Their food was good, except for that one supposed "hot choco" from the complimentary breakfast. It gave me a stomachache later during the day. My mom didn't like the iced tea during our late lunch as it was "too sweet" for her. Maybe don't expect much from the drinks. Staff can be hot and cold so I guess you'll just have to not expect so much too, I guess. Thank you still for...
