Gran Tierra Suites — Hotel in Cebu City

Among the hotels in Cebu City, I chose this one as it fits my budget and it has good location.||||I traveled with my parents, son and boyfriend to Cebu from March 21-24, 2018 and stayed in this hotel from the 22nd until the 24th. Our first night was in Bantayan Island.||||Our room was at 210, Family Room with 2 beds (1 double and 1 single). We ordered an extra bed. Their rooms are good enough especially if you will be out and about most of the time. It's good enough to spend the night in after exploring the city. What I liked about this hotel is that they have water dispenser in the hallway. Since they don't have a fridge in the room, we can just go in the hallway and get hot/cold water. This is especially helpful to sterilize my son's feeding bottles.||||The only thing that hinder me to give this hotel a 5 rating is their food service. They don't have a pantry. If you are too tired (or lazy haha) to go out and explore Cebuano cuisine you have to either order fastfood or choose from a limited menu of their partner restaurant. To power up your morning (before hitting the city to find a more suitable breakfast), you may opt to order their buns -- their chicken variety is good! We also tried their Yema Cake. Stayed here for three nights.Rooms were cheap,clean and beddings were neat.Our first night here weren’t that good because of the sink that was clogged.(the water doesn’t flow)my husband tried to fix it but the water just overflowed with dirt.He cleaned the floor and he felt so stressed about it.So the next morning we told the front staff about our problem and they said they would fix it.And when we came back its almost fixed they said there was a toothbrush stocked inside that sink.(I hope they wouldn’t accuse us about that toothbrush because we have nothing to do with it.)But anyway,they always maintain to change linens.Aside from that the place was so convenient.Overall good accommodation except to other guests who has no consideration at all for making noise in the alley at...

Personally, I can say the staff were easy to deal with, some were friendly, some not, however, they've got a large room and bigger mattresses for a twin bedroom. AC is fine - not too relaxing, should be improved. Room is big, can get unlimited mineral water for free, did not use their WiFi as I preferred my own data, no corkage for bringing in even food, they've got me a complimentary snack upon checking in.
