I have stayed at Palazzo Pensionne many times when I'm in Cebu City. It's close to Colon and the shopping areas and I walk, get a taxi or even jeepney. Its in a nice quiet friendly street I have always enjoyed my stay here and love the hotel which was at its best in 2015
I visited in 2018 and found a lot of differences in attitude by the management Which I didn't like one bit
Employed staff working here are brilliant and the service is generally good. The rooms I have stayed in did impress me when it had a refit upstairs as in 2014 It would be nice to see this place improving all the time and showing more respect to tourists and not to be told "It's not a five star hotel " when asked for a bottle of water after my long journey there.
I found it to be very tight ..and the same in the comfort room and shower. Tiny piece of soap..tiny toilet paper. No blanket on bed every corner had been cut. I came here to get away from Austerity FHS ! I was quite DISGUSTED..since Ive been a loyal customer since 2009 Owner/2 faced manager -take note! It's a very relaxing place to stay and Would recommend it to anyone if it will smarten...
Read moreThis is my second time in Palazzo Pensionne. During my first accommodation, the water flow from the shower was weak. I am glad to update that this has been resolved. It seems that the cable is not paid for this month. During my previous accommodation last September, a lot of channels were available. This time, the only channels that were available were local ones. This, in turn, makes the TV, in my opinion, unusable. If you are a visitor who plans to utilize their TV, you may bring your trusty Chromecast with you so that you can use their TV for Youtube and Netflix. That's what we did 'cause sadly, the TV in our room is outdated. There was a red ladder leaning outside the window of our bathroom. I really don't mind. I actually find it funny but other visitors might be creeped out. Despite my nitpicks, we have enjoyed our stay. The hotel feels warm, cozy, peaceful, and clean. It is worth the price you...
Read moreBound to Cebu from Bohol cruising a Ferry, I had to make an immediate reservation at Cebu City, checkin’ in at 4 am, Saturday with 10 pax. I tried callin and textin a bunch of hotels, apartels, etc but they all said the same - “We are fully booked!!” A bit stressed cuz by batt’s runnin out of juice, my load’s almost drained and the signal along the shore was crazy. Finally, I got a response from Ms Joy from Palazzo Pension sayin that she’ll be able to accomodate us. Thank God!! We were all relieved knowin that we won’t end up walkin and waitin along the streets with our luggages. When we arrived at Palazzo Pensionne, Ma’am Joy warmly greeted us and showed their modest clean rooms (with free breakfast!) I rarely publish reviews unless necessary. Thank you so much Ma’am Joy and the staff of Palazzo Pensionne for your...
