WARNING: DON’T BUY COFFEE BEANS HERE! NOT ANYMORE!

I'm a repeat client of theirs and have been ordering from them in bulks. Take note in BULKS. If I'm not mistaken, I order from them almost twice every month and pay through CASH or ONLINE BANK TRANSFER. Take note I don't use credit card so that the payment will always be reflected in their system. I also pay in FULL & ADVANCE.

Their staff lack customer service and empathy. Recently, my purchaser claimed the 12 kgs Brazil Cerrado that we ordered from their store but only to find out they gave the wrong beans. So he had to go back and have them replaced. He approached one of the staff and sarcastically asked if he already opened the box. He also kept insisting that it's the right beans that were packed inside. It's somehow insinuating the the purchaser didn't check the box and just went back to the store para magsayang2 og gasolina and have it replaced. Like ngano mobalik man ang purchaser if sakto ang gihatag nga beans? Where's the logic in there? To cut the story short, they checked the box themselves and admitted that they gave the wrong beans. There was even no apology from that staff.

This is not also the first time that they failed in their customer service. There was even one time that we already paid for the beans but when we visited their store to claim it, they said they run out of beans. Like how can they not set aside the beans for us knowing that we ordered in advance and paid in full? Where's the logic there? And again they didn't even care to apologize for this mishap. Aside from their lack of empathy and poor customer service, the way they process their customer's purchase is very slow and inconsistent. Ipasa pasa...

The Good Cup Coffee is undeniably one of the best coffee shops I've had the pleasure of visiting in Cebu, especially when it comes to the actual taste of their coffee. I had been eager to try them out for quite some time, even though they are quite a distance away, but our visit was undeniably worth it.

What sets them apart is the wide variety of amazing coffee beans they have available. The staff there are also incredibly friendly, providing a level of customer service that rivals even Starbucks. It's quite impressive, to be honest. Additionally, they are punctual and honest; there was a mistake in the total amount they charged me, which I hadn't noticed, but they were kind enough to rectify it.

For our order, we chose their Artisanal Chocolate, Creamy Matcha, Cappuccino, and Kouign-amann. The drinks and pastries were exceptional, and you could tell that they didn't compromise on quality. We also decided to give their Soft Serve Matcha a try, which was also quite delightful. However, it's worth mentioning that they are on the pricier side compared to some other local coffee shops.

As for the ambiance, the place is indeed cozy, but I would suggest that they invest in slightly more comfortable seating.

In conclusion, The Good Cup Coffee is a must-visit for all coffee enthusiasts. Their dedication to great coffee and top-notch service makes it a standout choice among Cebu's...

I first heard about Good Cup Coffee Co. from a coffee-loving friend, who told me that the café is led by barista champions, including a Philippine Brewers Cup winner, and is one of the most talked-about brands in the specialty coffee scene. The shop itself is quite small, but it has a calm and cozy atmosphere where you can truly relax.

The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the rich, comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The staff welcomed me with warm smiles, making the whole space feel even more inviting. They offer a variety of coffee options, and this time I ordered something called “Strawberry Jam” coffee. Although the menu didn’t have a Strawberry Jam Coffee Latte, they kindly made one just for me.

The coffee had a gentle hint of strawberry aroma, with a mild bitterness that made it very easy to drink. Their original blend is more on the acidic side, which I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys bright, fruity coffee flavors. I was honestly surprised by how well strawberry and coffee complemented each other.

Being professional baristas, they clearly pay attention to every detail—from the grind size of the beans to the water temperature—showing just how much passion and care goes into every cup.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best coffee shops in Cebu. If you’re a coffee lover, you...

Very unpleasant experience with the attitude of the staff. My friend and I came to buy coffee — we came all the way from Bohol island, remembering that this place serves excellent coffee. We’ve purchased coffee here before and recalled that there was a deal clearly stated: “Get a free cup of coffee with every purchase of a coffee bag.” We wanted to buy two separate bags of coffee, and it was made clear that only one free cup would be given per person. When I pointed out the sign placed right next to the coffee bags stating the promotion, one of the staff began explaining that it was a management issue and that this has been a problem before. I suggested that if that’s the case, the sign should simply be changed. Then another staff member, who returned from the grinding room, acted as if she was seeing the sign for the first time. It’s not about the 200-peso cup of coffee — it’s about the principle and the attitude, which was very unpleasant here. We will definitely not be coming back. The coffee itself is very good, and we’ll continue to order it online instead. As a business owner myself, I would strongly recommend providing customer service training to the staff — learning how to properly communicate with customers is essential.
