MoalBoal Seaside Resort — Hotel in Cebu

A couple of weeks ago, my freediving friends and I had the pleasure of staying in this room. It's incredibly spacious and perfect for groups. While it's slightly distant from the shoreline, the real perk is its proximity to various dining options and bars. The staff was exceptionally accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

One of the standout features was the convenience of being able to cook into the place. This added a level of flexibility to our stay that we greatly appreciated. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, allowing us to store our supplies easily. Another highlight was the hot and cold shower in the bathroom – a small luxury that was greatly welcomed.

However, we did have a suggestion for improvement. It would be fantastic if they could set up a rinse area outside. This would be particularly useful for beachgoers like us, enabling us to wash off the white sand before entering the room. This small addition could make a big difference for guests.

In conclusion, our stay at this room was a positive experience overall. The spaciousness, accommodating staff, and cooking facilities contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Cons We stayed around Christmas and in the last two days the locals on nearby building did really bad karaoke on ridiculously high volume up until 2:30am. The reception was closed so no one to talk to. Water pressure in shower pretty weak The window in the shower cannot be closed The shower ceiling is occasionally dripping The reception is closed at night Reception is on the adjacent building so you need to walk a few meters outside to reach there

The rooms themselves are great. Nice little touches like keyless entry and a fridge. AC was nice and quiet. Also an oscillating fan. Beds are hard as rock. The bedding did not have any scent to it. There are chickens all around though so bring your ear plugs and I hope you're not a light sleeper. This problem could occur at pretty much any place around here though. It's about a 5-minute walk to the beach. Would have been nice to get something right on the beach but really not a big deal. Our room was on the third floor so we had to walk up every time but again not a big deal....
